Putrajaya Wetlands Park (Malay: Taman Wetland) in Putrajaya, Malaysia is believed to be the largest constructed freshwater wetlands in the tropics. It is the first man-made wetland in Malaysia, which includes a Wetland Park (138 hectares) and the wetland areas (1977 hectares). Putrajaya Wetlands consists of 24 wetland cells, Wetlands Park (Taman Wetland) and the other Wetlands areas. The Wetland now is also a wildlife sanctuary which attracts a huge variety of animals to the combined terrestrial-aquatic wetland environment.
Several species of local marshland birds and water birds including the little egret, the little green heron and cinnamon bittern, and migratory birds form Northern Hemisphere have been spotted there. Binoculars will come in handy for bird watching. The visitors can also enjoy a leisurely walk, jog or cycle along its bicycle track

Der auch Taman Wetland genannt Park bietet verschiedene Freizeit-und Bildungsaktivitäten. Die beliebtesten Plätze sind der 25 Meter hohe Aussichtsturm der eine 360° Rundumsicht auf Putrajaya und viel Grün bietet, das Natur Interpretive Centre und der Flamingo-Teich.
Der Putrajaya Wetlands Park, ein fantastischer Ort, für Einblicke und Ausblicke die Herz und Seele erfreuen.
Das Wasserfeuchtgebiet dient als Naturschutzgebiet, dessen Landschaft verschiedene Arten von Vögeln, Insekten und eine Vielzahl von Tieren anzieht.
Mehr als 70 Arten von Sumpflanzen (insgesamt 12,3 Mio. Stück) wurden eingepflanzt und 24 Arten von einheimischen Fischen angesiedelt. Hobby-Angler können hier eine Lizenz zum Fischen erwerben.
Es ist die Heimat von mehreren Arten von lokalen Sumpfvögel und Wasservögel wie der Rohrdommel, dem Seidenreiher, dem kleinen grünen Reiher und einer Reihe von Zugvögel die auf ihrem Weg aus der nördlichen Hemisphäre eine Pause einlegen.
Hier können Sie Ihre Zeit mit Naturbeobachtungen, einem Picknick, Joggen oder Radfahren verbringen. Im Informationszentrum am Parkplatz können Sie auch an einer geführten Tour teilnehmen, Fahrräder oder Boote mieten oder eine Angellizenz erwerben.

The Taman Wetland offers a variety of recreational and educational activities. The most popular places are the 25 meter high Lookout Tower (which provides a fantastic 360 ° panoramic view of Putrajaya), the Nature Interpretive Center and the Flamingo Pond.
The wetlands serve as a nature reserve, whose landscape attracts different kinds of birds, insects and animals. Trip Boating Tasik Wetland Putrajaya
Boleh ke memancing di Tasik Putrajaya, siap boating lagi tu. Jawapannya memang boleh, korang cuma perlu dapatkan permit memancing.
Untuk boating pula korang kena sewa boat dan korang akan dapat live jacket, thrusters, battery(untuk thrusters) dan dayung. So korang kena bawa sendiri la boat tu.
Di tasik Putrajaya ni ada lokasi yang di khaskan untuk aktiviti memancing iaitu di Tasik Wetland. Pelbagai spesies ikan air tawar menghuni tasik ini. Bagi pemancing yang meminati teknik casting, spesies ikan yang menjadi sasaran ialah sebarau, toman, baung, belia, haruan dan lain-lain spesies pemangsa.
Pemancing yang meminati teknik bottom, saya sarankan anda menggunakan joran surf casting. Ini akan memberi kelebihan pada korang untuk menghantar umpan jauh ke tengah tasik. Spesies ikan yang menjadi sasaran peminat teknik bottom ialah Temoleh, rohu, jelawat, tenggalan, baung, tilapia, patin dan pelbagai lagi.
Kalau korang kumpau juga, ikan lampam akan menjadi penyelamat, guna saja umpan roti atau pallet untuk memancing lampam, Insyaallah korang tak balik dengan tangan kosong.

Putrajaya Eco-hydrology Management won the Excellent Award in the Green City Award Category of the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) 2012 and a Gold Award of The International Awards for Liveable Communities 2012.
The Eco-hydrology Management approach was adopted to manage the quality and quantity of surface run-off within the catchment areas of a massive newly developed administrative city. The Putrajaya Lake and Wetland were constructed to control the quality water with consideration given to the processes of possible source of all pollutant in the catchment including stakeholders' activities. It also ensure aesthetics viability and sustain good water quality suitable for recreational uses including primary and secondary contact activities.
