The weather was cold about 6 deg Celcius with thick fog that envelopes the island. The place is quiet and far from noise, a place soothing and relaxing.
Went to a group tour and brought along my Canon g9 camera so all the videos were taken from Canon powershot g9. I should have brought my canon hv20 but since it was an impromptu trip, in a haste i forgot to bring.
The only thing i didnt like about the place is the people, they have this bad habbit of pushing people and they dont listen to rules and regulations.

Where is Mt. Putuo?
Putuoshan (Putuo Mountain) is located on one of the Zhoushan Islands in eastern Zhejiang Province. It is in the middle of the Zhoushan Islands offshore from the city of Ningbo. So it easily reached from Shanghai, Hangzhou or Ningbo. Putuoshan is one of the four Buddhist Mountains of China. Others are Wutaishan, E'meishan and Jiuhuashan (Bodhimandas for Manjusri, Ksitigarbha, and Samantabhadra, respectively). Besides the many temples, the island is also lush in vegetation and a profusion of forests, all flourishing in the warm and humid climate.
How to Get Mt. Putoushan from Hangzhou
→Option 1
From Hangzhou, there are buses from the Hangzhou South Bus Station (407 Qiutao Rd.) to the bus station on Zhoushan Shenjiamen. Buses depart approximately once per hour, ant the journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. The cost is ¥70. The bus journey no longer involves a vehicular ferry from the mainland to Zhoushan because a new bridge has been competed.

Travelers can also take bus at Hangzhou South Bus Station or Jiubao Bus Station and get off at Shenjiamen Stop. Then transfer to a public bus or catch a taxi to arrive at Banshengdong Wharf at Shenjiamen. From there you can get on a ferry to get to Putuoshan and enjoy your tour there. the ferry runs from 6:00 am to 3:00 am and departs every 25 minutes. The ferry only takes about 15 minutes to reach Putuo.
