The Qantas Fight Simulator experience is ideal for aspiring pilots from aged 12 to 80 who have always wanted to be at the controls of a commercial airliner and experience what it's like to be a real life pilot. Qantas Flight Training operates an advanced and extensive fleet of full motion flight simulators. The fleet of simulators operate on a mix of both hydraulic and electronic motion platforms. These multi-million dollar devices are rated by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority as level D training devices, the highest rating that a simulator can be given by the Australian regulatory authority.

The simulators contain state of the art visual fidelity, motion and sound. This allows crew to be trained in all aspects of normal and non-normal operations; including instrument approaches and landings in a variety of weather conditions from heavy snow fall to stormy conditions.
The Qantas Flight Simulator Experience will principally be conducted in a Boeing 747-400 simulators. * The Airbus A340 is a long-range four-engine wide-body commercial passenger jet airliner. Developed and produced by Airbus Industrie, a consortium of European aerospace companies, which is now fully owned by EADS, the A340 was assembled at Toulouse. The A340-300 flies 295 passengers in a typical three-class cabin layout over 6,700 nautical miles (12,400 km). This is the initial version, having flown on 25 October 1991, and entered service with Lufthansa and Air France in March 1993. It is powered by four CFMI CFM56-5C engines and uses the Honeywell 331--350 APU, similar to the −200.
L'Airbus A340 est un avion de ligne quadriréacteur long-courrier de grande capacité fabriqué par Airbus. Il est décliné en plusieurs versions suivant la capacité ou le rayon d'action désiré. Cette famille d'appareils a été conçue avec un design semblable à celui de l'Airbus A330, mais est équipée de quatre réacteurs au lieu de deux. Berangkat JKT-SYD by Qantas. Sampai disyd , Kami langsung rent car untuk perjalanan road trip ke Melbourne. Ternyata seru banget lohhh... jangan mikir cape deh kalo liburan, mikir pengalamannya aja, dan pasti seru.
Syd -melb naik mobil kira2 9jam-an ya kalo menurut map, tp kenyataannya kita banyak jajan sepanjang perjalanan, jadi ya ngaret-ngaret sekitar 11jam. (Uda termasuk papa Onal istirahat mata ya). Gak usa takut macet, disana tolnya plong ,selama perjalanan gak ketemu tuh yang namanya stuck di Jalan.
21-24 kita explore Melbourne : (kita stay di Empire Apartement)
* Federation Square, Flinders street.
* Ketemuan sama Reny temen SMP nyobain Ying thai dan ternyata berapa tahun yang lalu pas kita ke Melbourne juga makan ying thai dan ice cream el dolce gelato.
* Bawa anak2 main salju di Lake mountain. Jgn ditanya deh gmn perasaan mereka, totallyyyyy happy!
* Brighton beach, dan sekitaran shopping mall disana.
*QV market, disini kita gak bakal lupa karna bayar parkirnya 30aud coy ????.
Oh ya untuk makanan di Melbourne ya hits sih kita sempet cobain: Ying Thai, Gyu tan don (dulu juga kita udah pernah makan sih, cm lupa aja namanya, pas disana liat bentuknya baru dah inget. Ice cream el dolce, kanpai Japanese sih juaraaaa.. anak2 nambahnya berkali2. Max Brenner buat cemilan krucils. Selebihnya kita makan yang kita ketemu aja dijalan.
24-25 August:
setelah lunch di QV market, kita perjalanan ke Albury. Rencana krn emang buat istirahat aja si supir (onal) dan anak2 ga gitu cape dimobil. diperjalanan kita ketemu restorant chinese food, akihirnya kita take a way buat nanti makan di hotel. Sepanjang perjalanan mah kita stok donut, roti, noodle yg beli di QV. Tempat tinggal kita di Albury ini kita pesen pas di Melb, jadi bener2 mepet, sedapetnya deh pokoknya. Kita dapetnya Albury City Motel. Dengernya aja uda Motel kebayang dong bentuknya kayak gimana. Sampe di motel, kagetttttt bangett!! ga seperti yang di bayangkan. Kamarnya gede,dan kamar tidur anak ada 3 tmpt tidur. WC nya bersihhh ngalahin Service Apartement kita di Melb kemarin. Begitu sampe, anak2 uda mulai rempong bongkar ini itu di hostel, lalu makan, mandi trus tidur. Rencana bsk kita mau melanjutkan roadtrip ke SYD nya pagi hari. Kenyataannya kita bangun sih tetep pagi, tapi drama anak2 gak kita perhitungkan. Bfast + mandi = check out jam 11an lalu mampir ke subway buat makan siang. Kalo di mobil anak2 ngobrol2, nyanyi2, berantem, tidur. itu aja kerjaan mereka. Sampelah kita di SYD, tapi kita mampir ke rumah temenku Sheren (dulunya cust aku pas aku jualan baju, eh berlanjut jadi temen), ngunjungin baby E yang baru mau 2 bulan, skalian minjem koper buat ke GC.
Kenapa minjem koper? karena kita mau bawa baju2 dan keperluan selama 4 hari 3 mlm aja di GC, jadi gak repot, krn di GC kita ga sewa mobil. jd naik kendaraan umum. Awalnya mau beli koper, tp ga keburu krn di SYD jam 6an store2 pada tutup. Jadi Sheren pinjemin koper kabin, koper kita 2 yang gede nitip di tempat Sheren. Lalu kita janjian ketemuan sama tmn dari SMP yang stay di SYD, Michael&Ribka (yang bulan Sept mau nikah di Jakarta), kita dinner bareng di Chat Thai, Thailand Food lagi yg hits di SYD. ngantrinya mayan, untung Mike udah sampe dan booking. Mobil kita parkir di Goulbourn Street Car Park, gak begitu jauh dari tmpt makan. kenapa kita parkir disana? krn disana, parkiran cm 12aud. Setelah makan, beli cemilan buat anak2, semacam crepes gitu tapi besar, beli 1 aja cukup buat mereka. lalu kita balik ke hotel karena besok kita flight ke Goldcoast jam 6 pagi. Karena kita mau balikin model di Avis, kita harus dateng pagian buat pengembalian mobil.
26 August:
Sampe airport jam 4pagi, anak-anak masih ngantuk bangett, Onal urusin buat balikin mobil, lalu kita check in. Sarapan di airport, lalu tunggu Boarding. Anak-anak gak sabar banget mau cepet sampe di GC.
Di Gold coast kita nginep di Mantra Legend Hotel, recommended! Hari pertama di Gc, kita keluar mlm muter2 Surfer Paradise, banyak bazar2 di pinggiran pantai.
Hari k2 kita ke Gold Coast Whale Watching Cruise, anak-anak happy tapi mama jenot muntah2 mabok laut T.T lalu kita ke Wet n Wild. tp sayang gak bawa baju berenang, begitu sampe disana jam 3 sore tutup. jd cuma bahasin kaki dan foto2 aja. Next day kita ke Movie World , seneng banget banyak permainan anak2 dan bisa liat batman , wonderwoman dll. Last day kita ke Sea Aquarium, wah sayang banget kita gak seharian full disana krn flight balik ke SYD jam 4 sore, jam 1an kita balik ke hotel lalu menuju GC airport.
29-2Sept.
di SYD kita sewa apartement di 1 church avenue mascot, krn deket dari airport dan kita baru booking pas di Sea Aquarium, krn kelupaan dan terlalu menggampangkan. hahahah. untungnya masih dapet dan tmptnya nyaman. Selama di SYD, ketemuan sama tmn amma jenot namanya Lucyana, tmn dari jaman SMP ga kontek, baru kontek dr IG. Lucy punya 1 anak namanya Austin, happy banget Bran ada temen laki-laki.
rute di SYD : Opera House, Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, dan santai2 aja keliling SYD.

Up to 60% of Air France flights expected to be cancelled due to pilots' strike
The Operations Director at Air France apologised publicly on Monday for a pilot strike which she said is damaging to all our passengers.
Catherine Jude was addressing journalists at the airline's headquarters at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Air France announced a plan last week to transfer much of its European operations and jobs to low-cost carrier Transavia, in order to remain competitive.
Pilots for Air France started the week-long strike on Monday, angry at the airline's move.
Air France was urging passengers around the world to change or postpone travel, estimating that it can only ensure 48 percent of Monday's flights.
Jude estimated that only around 40 per cent of the airline's flights would go ahead on Tuesday.
The President of the National Union of Airline Pilots (SNPL) said on Monday that Air France pilots were not against the development of Transavia France, but objected to the delocalisation of jobs and what he called social dumping.
