Visiting the South China Ghost Mall, Qifeng Park, and Guangming Night Market in Dongguan
While spending a month in Dongguan, we visited several interesting locations there. First we went to the South China Mall, which has a reputation for being an abandoned ghost mall - we went there to check if that still is the case these days. Next, we visited Qifeng Park, a huge park in the center of the city. It was too big to visit all in one afternoon, so we only saw part of it. And lastly, we were hungry for street food, which is surprisingly hard to find in Dongguan. After some research, we came across Guangming Night Market, and had some great tofu dish there.

Nature tripping naman tayo sa Dalingshan Forest Park.
Dalingshan Forest Park is located in the southwest of Dongguan City, surrounded by green forests and mountains. There are many hiking trails to the main peak—Dalingshan—which offers a terrific view of the Pearl River and rolling hills below. A golden statue of Maitreya, or future Buddha, stands in the park, as well as a nearby temple where the faithful go to pray. The park is divided into six main areas, including Shidong Scenic Area, which features a serene, comfortable environment. Huaihu Reservoir is also a gem in the area, featuring a 7-kilometer, tree-lined trail around the lake, perfect for a leisurely bike ride.
