The discovery in 1996 of a cache of hundreds of stone Buddhist sculptures dating from as early as the 6th century is considered one of the most significant archaeological finds of the 20th century in China, on a par with the First Emperor's terracotta soldiers. This exhibition (29 August - 23 November 2008) displays 35 of these most extraordinary sculptures. More at

China's earliest surviving imperial exam paper on display
China's earliest surviving imperial exam paper, dating back 400 years, has been put on display. The examination question was set by the emperor who stamped a seal on the paper that was then graded by nine ministers. The exam paper is on display at Qingzhou Museum in eastern China's Shandong Province.

BUDDHA MUSEUM IS VERY NATUREFUL PLACE
Govt. Buddha Museum Gorakhpur was established in 1987 but the present building came into existence in 1997.The museum's main aim is the collection, preservation, documentation, exhibition of the cultural property and to make them available for educational activities to create awareness about the glorious past. It show cases items like age old sculpture, figurines, terracotta items, beads etc. Most of the objects here are rare and priceless.
Presently four galleries are on display in the museum. About 2023 pieces of metal and stone sculptures, terracotta, potteries, thankas, miniature paintings etc. have been displayed in the galleries.

Archaeologists in China have found ancient pieces from a board game that hasn’t been played for 1,500 years.
In a 2,300-year-old tomb in Qingzhou City, the archaeologists found a 14-face die made of animal tooth, 21 rectangular game pieces with numbers painted on them, and a broken tile from a board game, according to LiveScience.

This place is a must-visit especially if you're in #Datong. The grottoes were really well preserved with the exception of some statues being defaced due to looting years ago. The whole place was really clean and easy to navigate. Overall, it's a really magnificent representation of Buddhism in ancient #China, and I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Wang Qingzhou's （王清州）Art Exhibition WANG QINGZHOU BEAUTES DE PEKIN was held in Paris
The opening reception for Wang Qingzhou's （王清州）personal exhibition in Paris, WANG QINGZHOU（ 王清州）BEAUTES DE PEKIN, was successfully held in Paulla Rosa Art Gallery along Rue Charlemagne Road in the artistic Marais District of Paris on Monday, January 27th, 2014. People in the field of culture and art and Chinese in France came and visited the exhibition on hearing the news, journalists from Paris TV recorded on site.
Return of the Buddha
The return of the Buddha: Buddhist sculptures of the 6th century from Qingzhou, China. This is the virtual tour that I created for Smithsonian Sackler Gallery in the summer of 2004. The interesting challenge of this project was morphing 2D images into 3D models with very few resources.
