Quanzhou Wuzu fist
Originating in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), the Wuzu Fist is classified as the southern fist style. It is known to merge features of five fists in one: the fierceness of the Taizu Fist, the elasticity of the Baihe Fist, speed of the Xingzou Fist, body movements of the Dazun Fist, and posture of the Arhat Fist. On June 7, 2008, the Wuzu Fist was officially included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage. Zhang Xiaofeng is an inheritor of the Wuzu Fist. He has been fond of traditional martial arts since childhood. He learned from Su Zaifu, a renowned master of the Wuzu Fist. The master taught him how to develop determination and confidence to master the difficulty of practicing complicated techniques. After 37 years of practicing martial arts, Zhang has won many competitions. #Chinakungfu #十三亿分之一

Confucian Fist:promoting traditional Chinese etiquette and Confucianism #ChinaKungfu
The Confucian fist originated in the late Ming dynasty in Fuzhou City, southeast China’s Fujian Province. It is a rare southern style martial art created by four Confucian scholars.
Confucian fist is used in close combats with explosive force. Combining defense and offense moves, this martial art was divided into Confucian, fish, rooster, and dog styles.
In 2014, Confucian fist was listed as an intangible cultural heritage of Fuzhou City. In 2017, it was selected as an intangible cultural heritage protection project in Fujian Province.

Wuzu Quan (Five Ancestors Boxing) of Quanzhou Shaolin Temple
The Quanzhou Shaolin temple started construction (or reconstruction) in 1992 and the first stages were completed by the end of 1997. Made possible by contributions from abroad and local entities, It continues to be a work in progress but is unique in that it adopted traditional martial arts from the Quanzhou area into it's regime. Wuzuquan (Five ancestors Boxing) is the official physical training programme of the temple and its many novices and monks led by Abbot Shi Changding maintain a great tradition as depicted herein.
Temple of Confusius - Beijing China
The Temple of Confucius at Beijing is the second largest Confucian Temple in China, after the one in Confucius' hometown of Qufu.
The temple was built in 1302, and officials used it to pay their respects to Confucius until 1911. The compound was enlarged twice, during the Ming and Qing dynasties and now occupies some 20,000 square meters.

The Quanzhou Hua Quan system is known for it's concise and compact boxing methods as well as it's stick fighting skills and the rare Yanzi Cheng which are a specialty of this style.
the Quanzhou Hua Quan tradition can be traced back to the late Qing dynasty - early Republican era to two brothers who worked as school teachers, Zhou Cangyu and Zhou Runyu. They passed the system on to a man named Lin Chaotai. Lin Chaotai and his students helped spread the system through out Quanzhou city.
Today this system is taught in the newly built Quanzhou Southern Shaolin temple.

Shaolin Zen
Shi Yange is one of the 34th generation disciples of the Shaolin Temple. He has been practicing martial arts for 15 years since he was 12. In his view, Zen is about stability. Every internal nerve is activated beneath a calm appearance. By stretching and relaxing the muscles, practitioners can feel the breath, nerves and bones acutely. Shaolin Zen is one of Shaolin Temple's 72 featured techniques. The set of moves evolved from the way monks sit in deep meditation, combining the contents of the ancient books about healthcare methods, Muscle-bone Strengthening Exercise and Marrow-cleared Scripture. With a history of more than 1,500 years, the moves alternate between slow and fast movements and stillness. #Chinakungfu
