I went on a holiday with my family to visit old friends of my mom and dad.
We went cliff-diving, took a boat tour, visited the Quasimodo bar and even went to de Pego Do Inferno! The entire week was a delight!

To the East side of Tavira Island, you will find the Island and Cabanas beaches, a narrow but long strip of land before the last bar across the river estuary to the East. The beach of Cabanas is situated in front of the village, whose origin goes back to the old days of tuna fishing in this area, and which even today remains a picturesque fishing village.

Eine Reise durch Portugal im Frühling 2o15.
Die ersten 3 Tage waren für Lissabon und Umgebung reserviert.


Lissabon, viel darüber gelesen, viel davon gehört und unsere Erwartungen waren ganz oben angesiedelt. Die Historie, die Menschen, die Tradition, das Klima, das Essen, der Verkehr mit den Trams, den Elevadors und, und, und. Wir haben es erfahren und erlebt und wurden wahrlich nicht entäuscht.

Danach ging es mit einem Mietwagen rauf nach Ciombra, dann östlich nach Monsanto, dem portugiesischtem Dorf Portugals, dann südlich nach Evora und danach zur Erholung ganz in den Süden an die Algarve nach Salema nahe Lagos, quasi zum Cap Europa als westlichstem Zipfel unseres Kontinents, weiter südlich gab's die letzte Bratwurst vor Amerika.
