Queen's Fort Military Museum is a museum in Bloemfontein, South Africa, which depicts all major wars in the Free State from the 1800s. The building was erected in 1848 and put to use for the first time in 1849. Along the years, it has been used as military headquarters, a hospital, an asylum or mental institution, and a prison.

Although the war was between Britain and the two Boer Republics of the Transvaal and the Orange Free State, the whole South African population became directly or indirectly entangled in the war. This War Museum in Bloemfontein provides an understanding of the background against which the Anglo-Boer War took place through its unique art collection and exhibitions. The War Museum in Bloemfontein is one of the country's National heritage resources that protect the preservation of the country's history. We are joined by Tokkie Pretorius, he is the Director her at the War Museum.
