Queen Mary's bridge (Marienbrücke) close to Neuschwanstein castle
The Marienbrücke is about 15 minutes walking distance from Neuschwanstein Castle and is named after Queen Marie of Prussia, the mother of King Ludwig II.
King Maximilian II (the husband of Queen Marie) constructed in 1845, over the Pöllatschlucht, a web for riders which his son King Ludwig II completed to become today's Marienbrücke.
The Marienbrücke is very popular today as a location for excellent photos of Neuschwanstein castle and its surroundings.

Maria's bridge...One,standing on the Maria's bridge,which goes over Pellat Canyon, can see beautiful mountain scenery surrounding New swan castle.
Hanging bridge,which is older than New swan castle,crosses the canyon at the height of 92 meters above 45-meter waterfalls.
Originally this bridge was built from wood,but in 1866 it was replaced with the metal one.
The bridge is named in honor of King Ludwig's II mother Queen Maria, Princess of Prussia.
*to avoid the crowds during summer go later after 4pm or before 10am

Потрясающий вид на замок Нойшванштайн и его окрестности открывается с моста Марии (Мариенбрюке - Marienbrüke), расположенном над живописным ущельем Поллат, где королевская семья частенько прогуливалась по крутым тропам. Мост нависает над 45-метровым водопадом на высоте 92 м. Подвесной мост в горах был возведен по указанию отца Людвига II - Максимилиана, задолго до строительства Нойшванштайна. Людвиг II, восхищенный открывающимся с этого места великолепным обзором, в 1866 году заменил старый мостик металлической конструкцией и назвал в честь своей матери её именем. Мост проходит над ущельем и ведёт к так называемой дороге святого Грааля и к королевской горной хижине, расположенной на горе Тегельберг.

マリエン橋から谷底のトレイルを歩いて白鳥城に向う人を眺めています。
白鳥城に向う人が谷底に豆粒くらいの大きさで写っています。

Marienbrücke (Mary's Bridge) is a bridge located near the famous Neuschwanstein castle in Hohenschwangau, Bavaria.
In the 1850s, as a birthday present for his mountain-climbing consort Marie, crown Prince Maximilian II of Bavaria (Ludwig II's father) had the iron bridge, the Marienbrücke, built high above the Pöllat Gorge.

Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein (formerly Schloß), lit. New Swan Stone Castle is a 19th century Bavarian castle. Located in Germany, near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria, the castle was built by Ludwig II, King of Bavaria, as a retreat and as a homage to Richard Wagner, the King's inspiring muse. It is the most photographed building in Germany, although photography of the interior is not permitted, and is one of Germany's most popular tourist destinations.

Marienbrucke Mary's Bridge
This bridge was crazy! It was built in the 1800s just so King Ludwig could have a commanding view of his castle.
The View from The Marienbrucke (Mary's Bridge, Bavaria)
The Marienbrucke is an adventure in itself, the bridge is only a mile walk from the Castle and it's simply beautiful. A waterfall below you and if you are adventurous you can go pass the bridge and venture farther up the mountain and witness even better views of the Castles, but Journey at your own risk.
