County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea. In the 2011 UK census, the community, which includes Penrhyn Bay and Penrhynside, had a population of 20,710 The town's name is derived from its patron saint, Saint Tudno.
Llandudno, Queen of the Welsh Resorts, a title first applied as early as 1864, is now the largest seaside resort in Wales, and lies on a flat isthmus of sand between the Welsh mainland and the Great Orme. Historically a part of Caernarfonshire, Llandudno was formerly in the district of Aberconwy within Gwynedd.
The town of Llandudno developed from Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age settlements over many hundreds of years on the slopes of the limestone headland, known to seafarers as the Great Orme and to landsmen as the Creuddyn Peninsula. The origins in recorded history are with the Manor of Gogarth conveyed by King Edward I to Annan, Bishop of Bangor in 1284. The manor comprised three townships, Y Gogarth in the south-west, Y Cyngreawdr in the north (with the parish church of St Tudno) and Yn Wyddfid in the south-east, More Info :

Llandudno is just off the North Wales Coast railway line which was opened as the Chester and Holyhead Railway in 1848. It became part of the London and North Western Railway in 1859, and part of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway in 1923. Llandudno was specifically built as a mid-Victorian era holiday destination and is served by a branch railway line opened in 1858 from Llandudno Junction with stations at Deganwy and Llandudno.
Llandudno is unique within the United Kingdom in that its lifeboat station is located inland, allowing it to launch with equal facility from either the West Shore or the North Shore as needed. Llandudno's active volunteer crews are called out more than ever with the rapidly increasing numbers of small pleasure craft sailing in coastal waters. The Llandudno Lifeboat is normally on display on the promenade every Sunday and bank holiday Monday from May until October. In 2014 a planning application was submitted for a new Lifeboat station, with a larger boat, to be built close to the paddling pool on North Shore.

The start of the festival, but people dress is more than another. I wonder even if you want to play? Have minute that Queen Victoria? I am very pleased that this Queen Victoria this beautiful city. My two beautiful girls just coming into the eye of the Princess Alice and the Queen of May this year elected Randy deuno. Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the beautiful city of Clan embedded furnace, the festival began. Britain was the most glamorous era. Luxurious splendor of the Victorian era show a replay. The uncle reactions are those dancers who practice a little to hot around the beach. I met people from Wales haphaedo's all the same enemies than today. Where did everybody came out and hid? Wales only knew of one line to unsophisticated. Now it is quite enthusiastic. The parade began in earnest. What if you miss the Victorian Englishman who is a common feeling with me. However, Wales is a small country that even the frontier. However there have never been the hero. But Wales is that better than anyone I've ever met a dignified and strong self-esteem. I live in Wales and England man, but it is very proud. I am very proud of you. I'm proud to be called the Welsh. You can read and write language speak Welsh. What the hell is the source of that pride? Maybe not to know I went down to define the word 'strange'. However, it is more than 'is' bad' is not. One such was never one of those small but Wales have always been one country or the like. That strange country, am truly proud of.

Sandringham Castle & the Picturesque Gardens - Norfolk
The British Monarchy - Sandringham House
==================================
During the summer I visited the eastern coastal area of Norfolk. Here I visited a few places of interest in the area. Among them the Queen's winter retreat at Sandringham Castle took a special place.
The speciality of this castle is that the Queen addresses the nation from here every winter. The castle is very unique in the fact that it is wholly owned by the Queen and the antique pieces of furniture, paintings and other ornaments are all personally owned by the Royal Family. The castle showcases some fantastic paintings and pieces of furniture.
The private museum in the adjoining building also traces the Royal Family's history with some unique and rare photographs and personal items. No pictures are allowed inside the castle and in this building.
The Sandringham museum which is shown in this video is a block of buildings used formerly as horse stables and now houses a museum with the Royal Family artifacts which included their former horse carriages and vehicles.
The castle grounds are indeed very special and spectacular and it seems great care and effort have been made to make them what they are today. The Royal garden is so unique with all pastel shades of flora and amazing Landscape. This beautiful landscale really stole my heart.
Finally at the castle boundary is the church which the Royal Family visits for the Xmas services.
Sandringham is a friendly and informal place to visit with knowledgeable guides in every room ready to talk to visitors.

Sandringham House in Norfolk has been the private home of four generations of Sovereigns since 1862. The Queen and other members of the Royal Family regularly spend Christmas at Sandringham and make it their official base until February each year.
Like Balmoral, the Sandringham Estate is a commercial estate managed privately on The Queen's behalf. Sandringham House, the museum and the grounds are open to visitors

Caernarfon is a royal town, community, and port in Gwynedd, Wales. Caernarfon lies along the A487 road, on the eastern shore of the Menai Strait, opposite the Isle of Anglesey. The city of Bangor is 8.6 miles (13.8 km) to the north-east, while Snowdonia fringes Caernarfon to the east and south-east. Carnarvon and Caernarvon are Anglicised spellings that were superseded in 1926 and 1974, respectively. The villages of Bontnewydd and Caeathro are close by.
In the 13th century, Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, ruler of Gwynedd, refused to pay homage to Edward I of England, prompting the English conquest of Gwynedd. This was followed by the construction of Caernarfon Castle, one of the largest and most imposing fortifications built by the English in Wales. In 1284, the English-style county of Caernarfonshire was established by the Statute of Rhuddlan; the same year, Caernarfon was made a borough, a county and market town, and the seat of English government in North Wales.
The ascent of the House of Tudor to the throne of England eased hostilities between the English and resulted in Caernarfon Castle falling into a state of disrepair. The city has flourished, leading to its status as a major tourist centre and seat of Gwynedd Council, with a thriving harbour and marina. Caernarfon has expanded beyond its medieval walls and experienced heavy suburbanisation. Its population includes the largest percentage of Welsh-speaking citizens anywhere in Wales. The status of Royal Borough was granted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1963 and amended to Royal Town in 1974. The castle and town walls are part of a World Heritage Site described as the Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Gwynedd.
Caernarfon is situated on the southern bank of the Menai Strait facing the Isle of Anglesey. It is situated 8.6 miles (13.8 km) south-west of Bangor, 19.4 miles (31.2 km) north of Porthmadog and approximately 8.0 miles (12.9 km) west of Llanberis and Snowdonia National Park. Caernarfon was at one time an important port, exporting slate from the Dyffryn Nantlle quarries. A temporary Caernarfon railway station in St. Helen's Road is the northern terminus of the narrow gauge Rheilffordd Eryri / Welsh Highland Railway. Work began on a permanent station for the town in February 2017. The new station is expected to be open to passengers in Spring 2018. Caernarfon Airport is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) to the south west, and offers pleasure flights and an aviation museum.

Rhyl pier & sands
Rhyl's Victoria Pier opened under private ownership in 1867 and was derelict by World War 1. The Grand Pavilion at the shore end lasted only 5 years until destroyed by fire. The council took over the pier and reopened it 1930-1966; it was demolished in 1973. At the time of these pictures, Rhyl sands were among the finest in Wales. Slideshow compiled by Colin Jones.
