Sneaking Into the QPAC (Theatre) | Brisbane Urbex
This video is quite a diversion from my usual content, though still worth uploading. Me and some friends snuck into the QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre) in Southbank, Brisbane. We gave ourselves a backstage, 'private tour'. This place is massive, and though there was a lot I didn't get around to exploring before we got scared off by a worker, I got to see some cool stuff. My favourite part was going into the 'roof' part of the dance stage, where the ropes and whatnot are operated from (I assume). This was very scary for me, due to the high quantity of doors. You never know what's on the other side.
Oh, and I apologise for the terrible narration and crappy music that I quickly put together.
My next video will be something more fitting to an 'urbex' video, and it is actually really cool.

Welcome back to my channel. Today I have something very exciting for you: a city walk tour of Brisbane. David and I have been living here for three months now, and it is almost time for us to leave. You probably have seen some of my favorite places in my videos, but before we leave I wanted to give you a better idea of Brisbane.
We are starting our tour in West End, this is where we live. We are walking to South Bank and show you the Parklands. Then we continue our route to the City Centre, this is where you need to be if you want to go shopping. In the city you can also find the beautiful botanic gardens. From there we walk to the Valley. It is a beautiful walk with the river and Story Bridge on your side. The Valley is the place to be in the weekend. Here you can find all the bars, cafes and clubs. China Town is also situated here.

The Creatory / Queensland Performing Arts centre
I was asked to film a motivational / inspiration piece for QPAC & The Creatory. This new facility was formed to help performing artists collaborate and practise within.
The Advertising agency creatives Nancy Hartly and James Burchill and the QPAC team pretty much gave me creative carte blanche. They had no idea what we were going to capture on the day and I didn't either.
We had only a few hours to do a lot of work with some amazing dancers, musicians and actors.
Nothing was planned, nothing rehearsed... We just had to shoot quickly as everyone gave us limited time.
Not the way i would normally run one of my shoots, but hey... It all worked out considering.
This was one of those jobs you get out of the blue which I wanted to do in my spare time. I did it for fun but mainly for creative stress relief. I was very happy to help out my agency friends and QPAC.
Shot on RED EPIC with medium format Hasselblad shift tilts lenses and Ziess super speeds.
Edited in FCPX, Graded in Resolve, FIN design + effects did the last crowd shot, Yaya from little Audio did the music score.

The Queensland Cultural Centre is a multi-venue centre located at South Bank, Brisbane, capital city of Queensland.
