Queenstown Hill Walkway, Queenstown, New Zealand
Queenstown Hill Walkway, Queenstown
It was the fourth day in Queenstown. We planned to climb up Queenstown hill. Just minutes from the bustling hub of the town centre, the Queenstown Hill trail has to be one of the most popular and accessible scenic walks in Queenstown. The gentle gradient and stunning scenery make it enjoyable for the visitors. It took us two hours return.
The walk begins amongst the Douglas Fir forest, and will take you through a spectacular display of cairn rock sculptures made by previous walkers. From here the trail spreads into open grassland, with terrific views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the striking mountain peaks which dominate the skyline. Atop the hill is Basket of Dreams sculpture by Caroline Robinson, a popular lookout spot, built to commemorate the Millennium.
The Background music is played by Phillip's own piece

A Delectable Fruit – Yet to Ripen!
We are delighted to have on offer this affordable and very private home on premium Queenstown Hill. The timber exterior provides plenty of alpine charm and character that continues as you step inside the front door.
The cleverly designed two level floor plan includes a spacious and comfortable open plan living/dining room accented by high ceilings and two bedrooms and a bathroom on both levels – a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Open the doors from all bedrooms and living spaces to spectacular elevated lake and mountain views.
The deck will be a massive hit – your friends and family will delight in the jaw dropping scenery and being able to monitor activity on the lake.
A large heat pump is there to keep you warm in the cooler months. Internal access garaging, off street parking and a separate laundry. There is a private rear garden and level lawn area. Freehold, fee simple land tenure.
Our Vendor purchased this property in 2002 and has had it tenanted since then. Whilst liveable as is, there is tremendous potential to add value and modernise 12 Longwood Place to capitalise on its prestigious blue ribbon address. This delectable fruit will ripen with tender, love and care.
It would make an ideal permanent home or holiday home in New Zealand's favourite four season resort town. Imagine you, your family and friends being conveniently situated within a much sought after neighbourhood so close to all the action and excitement of central Queenstown.
Please call/txt Gerard or Hadley to view outside of scheduled open homes. We have a LIM and Build Report for your convenience. And our instructions - are crystal clear - this home must be sold with our Auckland based Vendor committed to meeting the market.

???? QUI SUIS-JE ? - WHO I AM ?
My name is Julien Calabro, I was born in the south of France and I strarted to travel around Europe with my family when I was 12 years old. I enjoyed it so much my only thoughts were about travel. At 21 I moved to Paris where I lived by myself for about 5 years. During that time, the pace of my travels has very rapidly increased. I have been to New York, and Canada, then for the first time in Asia in 2012. I also went to Morocco in Africa in 2014. After all these trips my life has been changed a lot and I feeled depressed when I was working in France. At 27 years old I took a radical decision and left my job, my flat and then, my country... I moved to Sydney in Australia for about 2 years, and then now, in Auckland, the biggest city of New Zealand. I don't know what I will do and where I will be tomorrow, but I love my random life around the world.
