Vanlifers New Zealand - Queenstown to Picton - Odd Life Crafting Ep.1.16
In this episode, we went from Queenstown to Picton in New Zealand, and along the way spent a time in Wanaka and stayed 3 days in Nelson. Duca went kitesurfing, we made barbecue in Rabbit Island, went to a spa and slept in the car in the middle of the city center... After that, it was time to drive to the port of Picton to get the ferry to the North Island. Roberta
“After I finished my Civil Engineering degree in Brazil in the end of 2015 I decided that I wanted to take an extra step. So with the full support of my long time adventure partner I started a Master Degree at Sydney University and that’s how we sold most of our belongings and moved from Brazil to Australia. But 6 months later we realized that actually that was not what we were looking for. So instead of flying back straight to our country, we decided to take a few sabbatical months and travel until the end of 2016. The plan was simple, we wanted to travel to places where it is cheap and/or comfortable, and take the time to think about our own lives so we could decide what we wanted to do from 2017 and on. That’s the story we tell in this first season of Odd Life Crafting.” Duca

Duca

Picking up our Campervan Rental in New Zealand! NZ Ep. 3
The day before we picked up our Wilderness Motorhome rental here in New Zealand, we received an alarming email. The RV we rented needed a few repairs and unfortunately, they wouldn't be done in time! Cue panic attack.
But since we couldn't get the 6-meter campervan we booked, they offered to upgrade us to the 7-meter campervan. We were bummed for about two seconds since we had already told everyone how excited we were about our tiny van. But the rig we are in now is SO COOL. We've seen a lot of RVs in our time, but this one is hands down the coolest.
Check out the video to see our reactions to seeing it for the first time. For the full specs on the RV we're renting, check out the Alpine 2 on Wilderness' website:
