Conference on urban development in Guangzhou
The 2015 Conference on Urban Development and Planning wrapped up in south China's city, Guangzhou, on Wednesday. Officials and experts exchanged views on urban planning, green transport, eco-cities, environmental protection and other topics. During a forum on the development of Guangzhou, experts said the city aims to accelerate its pace to drive the Pearl River's development. CCTV's reporter He Weiwei brings more details from Guangzhou.

UN workers or contractors brutally beat a man?
Who’s to say but it does look like a UN vehicle that they drove in. But the fact that the vehicle is NOT white raises question. If they are actually UN workers, which I doubt, they are not following the course in promoting peace, would you say?
Event was on May 10, 2015 in Liuzhou, China.
Summary: The night before, the parking fee was 30 RMB (4.84 USD) but was given a reduced rate so only needed to pay 15 RMB ($2.42 USD). The next night (this video ) the man claimed he was short changed from the night before. The attendant reassured him that he was not. The man flips out and the attack begins all over 15 RMB equaling $2.42 USD. The man suffered broken ribs, internal bleeding and trauma as well and head injuries.
Police located the individuals involved through the vehicle license plate. They are in another city now but they are to turn themselves in or a warrant will be issued throughout China. Hospital bills and damages will be paid by the individuals who did the beating and a minimum of three years in jail will be imposed.

Sun Yat-sen
Sun Yat-sen (/ˈsʊn ˈjɑːtˈsɛn/; 12 November 1866 – 12 March 1925) was a Chinese revolutionary, first president and founding father of the Republic of China, and medical practitioner. As the foremost pioneer of Republic of China, Sun is referred to as the Father of the Nation in the Republic of China (ROC), and the forerunner of democratic revolution in the People's Republic of China. Sun played an instrumental role in the overthrow of the Qing dynasty during the years leading up to the Double Ten Revolution. He was appointed to serve as Provisional President of the Republic of China, when it was founded in 1912. He later co-founded the Kuomintang (KMT), serving as its first leader. Sun was a uniting figure in post-Imperial China, and remains unique among 20th-century Chinese politicians for being widely revered amongst the people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
Although Sun is considered one of the greatest leaders of modern China, his political life was one of constant struggle and frequent exile. After the success of the revolution, he quickly resigned, due to Beiyang Clique pressure, from his post as President of the newly founded Republic of China, and led successive revolutionary governments as a challenge to the warlords who controlled much of the nation. Sun did not live to see his party consolidate its power over the country during the Northern Expedition. His party, which formed a fragile alliance with the Communists, split into two factions after his death. Sun's chief legacy resides in his developing of the political philosophy known as the Three Principles of the People: nationalism, democracy, and the people's livelihood.

18 explosions en deux jours dans une petite ville de Chine
Nouvelle explosion jeudi matin à Liuzhou, une petite ville du sud de la Chine, théâtre hier de 17 explosions dues à des colis piégés qui ont fait au moins sept morts et une cinquantaine de blessés, selon les médias officiels.
Un hôpital, un centre commercial, une gare, un marché ainsi que des bureaux du gouvernement local ont été visés dans ces attaques. Les clichés diffusés par les médias et sur les réseaux sociaux témoignent de la violence des déflagrations.
