Rådhuset Oslo Video
Oslo’s premier skatespot gets thoroughly shredded from every angle. It’s inspiring to see all the different ways this place gets destroyed. Big ups, dudes!

OSLO FREE WALKING TOUR | Oslo City Hall | Things to do in Oslo, Norway
Looking for things to do in Oslo, Norway? There's no better way to get an introduction to a city that to do a free walking tour (or view vlogs about free walking tours)!
Today, I decided to do the Oslo Free Walking Tour in the morning.
You can do the Free Walking Tour Oslo in either English or Spanish. The English tours happen twice a day - 10am and 1pm daily.
It starts at Oslo Central Station. We made our way to the Oslo Promenade and Oslo Opera House before hitting up the old town. Oslo has three city halls, and we visited them all. The tour ended at the Oslo Parliament Building, next to the Grand Hotel.
Although an indoor visit to the Radhuset is not part of the Free Walking Tour in Oslo, you simply have to go inside. It's free, and fabulous!
Radhuset feels like walking into an art gallery. There are so many great murals that show you the daily lives of Norwegians throughout history. You'll also see some great interior design. Don't forget to check out the jewel of the city hall, the Munch Room.

Oslo City Hall (Oslo rådhus), Interior & Exterior (Oslo Norway, October 2011)
Oslo City Hall (Norwegian: Oslo rådhus) houses the city council, city administration, and art studios and galleries. The construction started in 1931, but was paused by the outbreak of World War II, before the official inauguration in 1950. Its characteristic architecture, artworks and the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, held on 10 December, makes it one of Oslo's most famous buildings. It was designed by Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson. The roof of the eastern tower has a 49-bell carillon which plays every hour. It is situated in Pipervika in central downtown Oslo. The area was completely renovated and rebuilt to make room for the new city hall, back in the late 1920s. Nobel Peace Prize ceremony

Oslos carillonist Vegar Sandholt plays one of the classic Oslo-songs Akerselva, the Norwegian lyrics to an old austrian melody being an ironic tribute to the river running throug Oslo. Akerselva was the power source of the first Norwegian industries. Today Akerselva is one of the most attractive industrial heritage sites in Europe.
