DAY 96 - THE COOLEST LESBIAN BAR IN TOKYO! レズビアン // 14.01.2017
Nearly 20 minutes of us showing around Tokyo ?!?! Ummm, YES please !!!
So today was very fishy (pun intended)...
We started our morning at Tsukiji fish market. We spent a good hour here, sampling out all of the random delicacies. It is simply a foodie heaven and great to venture out with your camera if you want to see a real local way of life here in Tokyo.
After seeing the fish icecream, we ran to Shinjuku :P. This is one of the busiest and most popular districts here. There is a huge nightlife (which we will to later), many shops, restaurants and of course karaoke...always karaoke.
We hit the pause button on Shinjuku during the late afternoon, to hop on the train to Shimokitazawa. This is a small, cool hipster area of Tokyo. You can find many alternative thrift shops and nice trendy restaurants. You can get here by simply catching a train from Shinjuku station
As we discussed, we managed to buy a bus ticket to Kyoto for half the price of a bullet train. Honestly, we can't see the benefit of buying a japan rail pass (even with the unlimited travel). Having to use the pass in 7 consecutive days puts a restraint on your time. The bus is waaaaaayyyy cheaper, you can pick how long you wan't to stay in one place and when you leave. Obviously if you wan't to ride the bullet train for the experience, then that's understandable. Maybe we will do this next time we visit.
Anyways here is the link to the bus company we used
In the evening we headed back to Shinjuku to check out the gay nightlife of Tokyo....It was crazy. We thought that Tokyo's scene would be very reserved; with a few underground bars and clubs but every club was bursting with energy.
The lesbian bar called Bar Goldfinger (amazing name!) was WILD!. Everyone was talking about how Katy Perry spent her new year there and we didn't doubt it. The place was full of eccentric people and karaoke carried on until the early hours. This place was for woman only (sorry boys).
We ended the night in a nearby club called Arty Farty. The entry was free and the music was great. We didn't even spend that much money downing tequila shots all night.
So on that note....

The name Taipei can refer either to the whole metropolitan area or the city proper.
Taipei is the political, economic, educational, and cultural center of Taiwan and one of the major hubs in East Asia. Considered to be a global city and rated as an Alpha City by GaWC, Taipei is part of a major high-tech industrial area. Railways, high-speed rail, highways, airports, and bus lines connect Taipei with all parts of the island. The city is served by two airports – Taipei Songshan and Taiwan Taoyuan. Taipei is home to various world-famous architectural or cultural landmarks, which include Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Dalongdong Baoan Temple, Hsing Tian Kong, Lungshan Temple of Manka, National Palace Museum, Presidential Office Building, Taipei Guest House, Ximending, and several night markets dispersed throughout the city. Natural features such as Maokong, Yangmingshan, and hot springs are also well known to international visitors.
In English-language news reports the name Taipei often serves as a synecdoche referring to Taiwan's national government. Due to the ambiguous political status of Taiwan internationally, the term Chinese Taipei is also sometimes pressed into service as a synonym for the entire country, as when Taiwan's government representatives participate in international organizations or Taiwan's athletes participate in international sporting events.

BEST BEACH IN VIETNAM - Nha Trang Beach & Walking Street
What’s the best beach in Vietnam? The beautiful Nha Trang Beach and walking street is definitely the most popular of the Vietnam beaches. We’ll show you around Nha Trang beach, Nha Trang walking street, and the popular Louisiane Brewhouse.
Nha Trang Vietnam is a 7km beach that is a huge tourist destination with both Vietnamese and Russian tourists. As one of the best beaches in Vietnam, Nha Trang is a highly developed beach town filled with bars, restaurants, nightlife, and white sand beaches. Surprisingly, for as busy as Nha Trang is, it’s beaches water is crystal clear and very clean. We were impressed!
Our first stop on Nha Trang beach was the Louisiane Brewhouse, a microbrewery in Vietnam. We rented 2 beachside lounge chairs for $3 total for the entire day! As far as Vietnam beaches go, Nha Trang has the appeal of a European beach destination with all of the amenities you could ever ask for. A lot of locals also take their vacation in Vietnam to Nha Trang beach as it’s only an hour flight away from Saigon. This makes Nha Trang one of the beaches near Saigon that is easiest to access.
We stopped back to our hotel only two blocks away from the Nha Trang Vietnam beach to take a quick dip in our infinity pool. The hotel we stayed at was called the Nagar Hotel and our room was $50 usd per night including a balcony and free breakfast each morning. We loved it!
Next stop was to walk the streets and explore the Nha Trang walking street. Basically, the entire three blocks in along the beach makes up all of the Nha Trang nightlife, restaurants, and bars in the area. As Nha Trang is the biggest beach in Vietnam, there is plenty to do once the sun sets. The area is quite the party town, popular among the Nha Trang Saigon tourist and Russian tourists alike.
If you have any Vietnam travel plans, make sure to add Nha Trang to your list if you are interested in experiencing a classic beach holiday. There are large resorts across the bay like the Vinpearl Nha Trang resort that are more suited for a quiet relaxing vacation than a beach party. We hope you liked this travel vlog in Nha Trang and make sure to tune into our Vietnam vlog series, as we have many other videos! Thanks for watching and we hope you liked watching our vacation in Vietnam. Seeya!

30 Things to do in Thailand Travel Guide, Top Attractions & Thai Street Food
During our time backpacking and traveling around Asia we spent more time in Thailand than any other country in SE Asia and for good reason. Unlike most tourists who visit Thailand, we decided to skip most of the beaches located in the southern regions of the country and instead focus most of our time in Northern Thailand. Chiang Mai, our home away from home, became our base for several months and by the time we left we promised ourselves we'd return again in the near future.

What makes Chiang Mai such a great base for foreigners? Firstly, it's cheap. You can find high quality serviced apartments for under $500 (some are less than $300) that offer modern amenities and are in located in close proximity to the old square of the city. Secondly, the food – both Thai and International – offers as much diverse selection as any city I've ever visited. If you want to gormandize on authentic Thai delights you'll have no shortage of options ranging from Thai street food to high class Thai restaurants. For the culture vulture, no shortage of opportunities exist to explore temples such as Doi Suthep, markets such as the Saturday night market or interact with animals such as at the Elephant Nature Park. When you get tired of Chiang Mai, the sleepy hillside town of Pai awaits where the pace is slower and you feel more like you're out in the countryside.

Considered to be a global city and rated as an Alpha City by GaWC, Taipei is part of a major high-tech industrial area. Railways, high-speed rail, highways, airports, and bus lines connect Taipei with all parts of the island. The city is served by two airports – Songshan and Taoyuan.
In English-language news reports the name Taipei often serves as a synecdoche referring to central government of Taiwan. Due to the ambiguous political status of Taiwan internationally, the term Chinese Taipei is also frequently pressed into service as a synonym for the entire country, as when Taiwan's governmental representatives participate in international organizations or Taiwan's athletes participate in international sporting events.
