【難波】Stand up comedy ROR スタンドアップ・コメディ ROR 2
The show was pretty enjoyable and 4/5 acts were pretty funny. The show itself was decently priced and the drinks were easily accessible. The MC did a decent job at keeping the crowd engaged, but sprinkled in some awful homophobic jokes. Those were incredibly distasteful and not funny at all.
The Japanese comedian was by far my favorite and did a great job at staying creative and relevant. My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed everyone until the last guy (apparently the owner) went on. His entire set was full of rape jokes, incorrect facts and horribly theatric bits. He clearly could not write any decent material and needed to resort to completely disgusting topics. He should quit stand up and focus on sourcing better talent. We enjoyed our time, but ROR really needs comedians to write better jokes rather than weigh on overused and distasteful topics.
