Racing through Milan with a Police Escort! | GUMBALL 3000

How better to end a long drive from Chantilly to Milan, with an arrival in the Italian city by a fast police motorcade convoy through the city streets! Having departed the French chateau in the morning, it's the long road towards Zurich, Switzerland for lunch before crossing the Alps to Milan to wrap up day 2 of the 2018 Gumball 3000 from London to Tokyo.

Day one had taken us across the start line in London and via the Eurotunnel to the Chateau de Chantilly outside of Paris. The second day would follow up being the longest of the European legs, over 900km to Milan in Italy. With the earlier part of the day running incredibly smoothly, the evening would bring things to life with the Milan police bikes bringing us briskly through the city to the closing grid!

Tomorrow we'll be continuing to Bologna for a visit to Pagani before heading to the airport for the participants and many of the cars to fly out to Osaka in Japan! The crazy adventure is only getting ever more crazy...

Milano - Torino 2019 Highlights | Italian Autumn One Day Classics On GCN Racing

Trip to Milan, Italy and Florence Italy for MotoGP races

In June, 2017 I enjoyed my first trip out of the USA by going to Europe for MotoGP races, World War 2 tour and motorcycle riding in the Alps of Switzerland and Italy. This video is about the first portion of my trip from Dallas, Texas to New York City to Milan and then to Florence. This was a great experience and I learned a lot about international travel. Italy was a great place to start. Florence was a beautiful city and I stayed there two nights. I attended the MotoGP races at Mugello with Valentino Rossi the crowd favorite. The local food was great and I enjoyed viewing the historic buildings.

Motorsport Manager 2018 Race 03 Pt 3, The Race (Milan, Italy)

If risottos could be used as engines, we'd be fine. We could go down to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, grab a couple for ourselves, grab a couple for the cars, and be on our way.

Regrettably it's not that easy. In Milano we have great risottos and sub-standard engines (on the track where we probably need them most) and the test track is still weeks away.

We don't need to claim victory; we just need to hold it together until we can.

So what is Motorsport Manager?

F1 Live Show in Milan before the Italian Grand Prix 2018: Ferrari SF71H, Sauber C32 V8, FXX K Evo

Before the start of the 2018 Italian GP, on Wednesday F1 organized one of its F1 Live events in Milan. Scuderia Ferrari, Sauber F1 Team and Scuderia Toro Rosso were the only three team which took part at the event but only Ferrari and Sauber did the show with their drivers in action with the 2018 Ferrari SF71H and a 2013 Sauber C32 F1 V8.
