The Rail Paddle and Plate Dining Experience is operated by DERMPAV.

It picks up at the Newport railway station and the Geelong railway station before heading to the gold rush town of Ballarat where after a short bus transfer to View Point on Lake Wendouree you join the Begonia Princess for a two hour cruise, during which you are fed a two course meal with wines from Michael Unwin Wines a local producer from Beaufort.

The return is the reverse.

Here in the video we see the leg from Newport to the Lake.

Seats are limited, so be quick to book to ensure your seat on this unique dining experience, it presents an excellent opportunity for individuals, couples, groups of friends or social clubs.

Piangil Overnight Tour

Here is a short video from DERMPAV's recent Piangil Overnight Tour, enjoy. It runs from Dingee, onto watching one of the newest DERM qualified drivers shows how to make manual transition. Then we travel the long straight and turn left and head through Mitiamo. Then onto Kerang where we see the Up pass headed by N456 arrive.

Hello All,
Today I have the Second of 3 parts from the Steamrail Echuca Extravaganza Steam Tour and Shuttles.
The Echuca Extravaganza is an annual train tour which is held over 3 days. The tour consist of the Train from Newport to Echuca, Two days of the Shuttles between Echuca and Barnes, of which on the second day of the shuttles has the return of the train back to Melbourne.

In this video we follow the activities of the last day of Steam Shuttles between Echuca and Barnes. There were 5 Shuttles on this day.
