RAILAY THAILAND | AO NANG KRABI TO RAILAY BEACH THAILAND
Railay Beach and Ao Nang are two of the most beautiful places in Thailand and we got to see the best of them. We took a boat over to Railay Beach after hearing so much about it and we were not disappointed! Railay beach is a must! Traveling in Thailand is always a big adventure, one of the adventures is getting from Island to Island. Today we head off to Railay Beach (not an island) from Ao Nang. It is a short ferry ride to a longtail to the main beach in Railay (200 Thai Bath). Railay is not actually an island but you would not be able to tell because it is a small secluded piece of land surrounded by limestone cliffs separating it from the rest of the world. definitely beautiful Thailand scenerary and a must visit if you are nearby. Excited for the future and more days exploring and traveling thailand.

Thai food has been heavily influenced by Chinese food so you will find lots of familiar flavours.
And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. You’ll find street food on many street corners in Thailand, be it in Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin or Krabi and at all of the markets. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

When we asked people on Instagram where to go in Thailand, a huge amount of people said head to Railay beach, explore the bay and create a travel vlog. Krabi is the closest airport, so we've hung out around Ao Nang for a few days and knew we had to go to Railay and see what the hype was about.
Getting from Ao Nang to Railay was actually super simple with a long tail boat, it's such a common route connecting the two beach setups. Arriving on the beach in Railay was kind of a surprise, there was more people than we expected but the beach and the views were amazing.
If anything, we appreciate the moments you can't predict more than the ones you can - we knew the beach would be nice, but we didn't expect to be finding a tiny walking street, friendly locals with connect 4, and drinks in a pirate ship.
So what's our thoughts on Railay? That's kind of a tough question, but we loved the beach for a day, the vibe was good, the prices were high, the fun was high - but we can't help but think Thailand has a lot more to offer that should feature on anyones 'favourite place in Thailand' list.

Railay Beach // The Secret of Phang Nga Bay in Krabi Thailand
Krabi Thailand is certainly one of the prettiest places we've been to. But we really didn't expect Railay Beach to suddenly make our list of top five best beaches we've ever visited!
The beach is surrounded by cliffs, and it's on a peninsula that you can only get to by boat (if you're wondering how to get to railay beach).
There's tons to do at Railay Beach as well, but it's mostly known for it's rock climbing, because of the epic views and easy to challenging routes for all skill levels.
When we go back to Thailand, we'll definitely be staying at Railay Beach.

Railay Beach, Thailand 2017 - HIDDEN LAGOON!
Railay Beach, Thailand was incredible! After a couple of rough days in Bangkok where many things went wrong, Doug and I were so excited to fly business class to Krabi, Thailand, and eventually settle in for 4 nights in Railay Beach. Our hotel had other plans unfortunately... or no plans at all. Our bad luck from Bangkok stayed with us at the start. As with everything, it was smoothed out and we had a fantastic time exploring Railay Beach. I was sad to miss Songkran, a three day water fight to celebrate the New Year. There wasn't much water fighting in Railay Beach, but there was so much else to offer from our amazing breakfast buffets, a steep, muddy hike to a lagoon, and a tucked away island bar which immediately became my second favorite bar in the world. We also got some good drone shots of Railay with the Mavic.

Railay has been one of the top destinations on my list for South East Asia and having now finally getting to visit after taking a boat across from Ao Nang, Krabi I can see why!
With the softest sand, bluest water and incredible landscape surrounding it, Railay has to be one of the most impressive beaches I have ever been to!
Railay has everything you'd want for an unforgettable trip, so hopefully this video helps you to plan your trip and give you an idea of how beautiful it is there.

Railay! I'd heard some great things about Railay and I finally managed to get down there. I only went for the day although you could definitely spend more time there. Home to the famous Pranang Cave. Railay Beach 2019 | KRABI
This time we stayed 4 nights on Railay Beach at Sea and Sand resort on west railay, if you have the cash to splash pay a little extra and stay on west railay it has the most beautiful sunsets and a stunning beach surrounded by 100 meter limestone cliffs.
A hotel room here will set you back between $50 and $150 per night depending not the season.
Should you choose to stay on east railay you will pick up a room for as little as $30 depending on the time of year.
Phra nang beach is one of our favourite beaches we have been to, you can experience 2 different beaches one at low tide and another at high tide. Due to the drop in tide you can walk out and around the island when the tide is at its lowest without getting wet. At low tide you can also access the caves on the left hand side without have to swim through a cave as seen in this video.
From Railay beach you also have access to Ao Nang should you want a walk around the markets which will cost you wither $5 each or $40 one way for a private long tail boat.
You can also start day tours from Railay and we highly recommend Hong Island tour, check out our video on that as the beach at Hong Island is the #1 beach in Asia.

Railay Beach in Krabi, Thailand: Railay Viewpoint Hike & Caves!! Hardest Hike We've Done!
Railay Beach in Krabi, Thailand is one of those places that we could seriously move to! We started off the day on Railay West where the longtail boats drop you off in Paradise. We walked all the way to Railay East where we checked into our new bungalow and started to explore! The first thing we wanted to do was the Railay Viewpoint Hike! We had heard that the Railay Beach Viewpoint was going to be very steep and difficult to climb, and they we right! It was basically like climbing straight up a mountain! The view was absolutely gorgeous and worth it, though. After that, we decided to explore the Railay Beach caves that glimmered like glitter when you shone the flashlight! If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Railay Beach to Tonsai Beach Hike Krabi, Thailand
This is a the hike from Railay beach to Tonsai beach in Krabi Province in Thailand. The beaches are beautiful and the hike is cool too but the sun is for sure hot.

Welcome to Railay which is one of the most popular tourist destination in Thailand and in all of Asia. This paradise is only reachable by boat from Ao Nang or Krabi. Railay is not an island, but is separated from the rest of the world, because it is surrounded by limestone cliffs.
We visited West Railay, Phra Nang beach, Tonsay beach, the amazing view point and we even filmed a thai boxing fight in East Railay..
We definetely recommend this place, but you should probably come here during low season, because it is cheaper, and less tourits.
