Peterborough Railworld Wildlife Haven Film
Fo twenty-five years Brian Pearce worked with volunteers to bring his idea to life - A barren piece of land transformed into a natural oasis in the middle of the city of Peterborough, which would teach others about the wonders of nature - He did it and we helped bring it to life for the digital age.
We gained coverage on BBC Look East,ITV Anglia News, Heart,BBC Radio Cambridgeshire,Peterborough Telegraph and ESP magazine amongst others.
Railworld New Model Railway 2010 (First Video)
It has been a long time since I lasted worked at Railworld in Peterborough, but I am now back working there as an active volunteer at the site and I am helping to construct the large OO gauge model railway layout that is shown in the video. The top level lines use DCC control and use the Bachmann Dynamis Set that I am slowly getting used to as I mainly use Lenz control. The lower level tracks use the standard conventional 12 volts DC which allows the older trains to be used that cannot be fitted with DCC decoders. The locomotives seen in the video is a Class 60 in EWS livery numbered 60048 by Hornby and a Class 37 in Railfreight livery by Bachmann which both locomotives feature DCC sound as well and both decoders are by ESU LokSound. I will be doing regular videos once again now I am back at my old spot helping out at Railworld, so stay tuned for more videos to come in the future.

Railworld Showcase 25/09/2008
Here is a shorter than normal video clip. Mainly its to show off my all new Chinese DF11 Diesel Locomotive (These Diesel Locomotives haul trains from Mainland China to Hong Kong and back) which is a beautiful designed model and it runs nice as well. This locomotive has the standard US-style buckeye couplings but they are non-NEM type, so we have to use an adaptor wagon to test this beast out. This DF11 Chinese Locomotive is modelled in the 1:87 scale and at the moment, it will be a one-off locomotive in my fleet as I mainly model British, Japanese and European outline stock. The other train is Steve's Class 40 in BR Green with the split headcode display boxes and yellow front which is numbered D326 :). This locomotive was once part of my fleet but was exchanged for a Class 57 set which will soon appear on a future Railworld Showcase clip ;). Also Ewan's new ONE liveried Class 47 makes an appearance by thundering through the station.

Places to see in ( Peterborough - UK ) Nene Valley Railway
The Nene Valley Railway (NVR) is a preserved railway in Cambridgeshire, England, running between Peterborough Nene Valley and Yarwell Junction. The line of Nene Valley Railway is 7 1⁄2 miles (12.1 km) in length. There are stations at each terminus, and three stops en route: Orton Mere, Ferry Meadows and Wansford.
In the early 1980s, the Nene Valley Railway ( NVR ) decided to extend its running line, which then terminated at Orton Mere station, along the route of the original Nene Valley Line to a new station west of the East Coast Main Line, adjacent to the new Railworld Museum. Peterborough Nene Valley opened, for the first time, on the Late Spring Bank Holiday weekend of 26 May 1986. This extended the NVR to its current length, 7 1⁄2 miles (12.1 km).
Since 1999, there has been talk of the 'crescent link' project promoted by 'Railworld' – a scheme to allow the NVR to run trains through the westernmost end of the Nene Park, across the river Nene into the Peterborough mainline station to connect directly with East Coast, National Express East Anglia, East Midland Trains, Arriva Cross Country and First Capital Connect services.
