新疆五彩灘 Colorful Landscape of Xinjiang's Rainbow Beach (China)
五彩灘位於布爾津縣城以北約24公里處,是前往哈巴河縣與喀納斯的必經之路.它毗鄰碧波蕩漾的額爾齊斯河,與對岸蔥郁青翠的河谷風光
遙相輝映,可謂“一河隔兩岸,自有兩重天”.激猛的河流沖擊以及狂風侵蝕,形成了北岸的懸崖式雅丹地貌,河岸岩層抗風化能力強弱不一,輪廓便會參差不齊,而岩石含有礦物質的不同,又幻化出種種異彩,因此得名“五彩灘”.而南岸卻是綠樹葳蕤,連綿成林,遠處逶迤的山巒與戈壁風光盡收眼底.
The Color of China
A special documentary produced by China Central Television (CCTV) to mark the National Day demonstrated the colorful scenery of the world's third largest country on Tuesday.
High-tech equipment coupled with high ideas had resulted in enlightening and entertaining TV programs, starting with the Chinese national color of red.
The Dongchuan Red Soil located in southeast China boasts the most typical and featured red soil in Yunnan highland. Experts regard it as the second marvelous red land in the world following the one in Rio, Brazil.
Those strong colors of red, white, yellow, green, gold, and blue cover thousands of mountains. When wind blows, the plants in fields wave tenderly. It is a colorful picture drew by the nature, like an oil painting more than a Chinese painting.
The Big Stone Lake scenic area in northeast China's Liaoning Province is aflame with red maple leaves. The change of temperature and the coming of frost and dew differ the color depth of the mountain. What's more, the green pine trees highlight the red maple leaves particularly.
Yellow is the most common color in autumn. It represents the happiness of harvest and the achievements of undertaking. In Ejin Banner in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the golden Huyang (scientific name: Populus euphratica) forests cover an area of 30,000 hectares. Huyang is also known as hero tree, as it is the only tree species that grows in the desert and it has a very strong vitality.
The yellow paddies in Jiansanjiang reclamation area in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province also demonstrate the joy of harvest fully. The rolling ears of rice are the best reward of hard work all through the year.
The Jiuzhaigou Valley, located in the Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province, features perennially snow-capped mountain peaks, verdant and lush forests, stretches of serene lakes, and various birds and animals. Upon entering the resort, you will find yourself strolling in a colorful fairyland. On sunny days, algae and sediments at the bottom of the lakes send out colorful lights. The lakes, thus, have gained another name called Wuhua Hai, meaning multicolored sea.
The following places also reveal the colorful scenery in China.
Wucaitan, also known as the Rainbow Beach, is located in Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It is known for its unique landforms created by years of wind and water erosion.
The Lake Nam is a mountain lake on the border between Damxung County of Lhasa and Baingoin County of Nagqu Prefecture in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. This lake is the largest in Tibet, and also the salt lake with the highest altitude.
In Phoenix Mountain in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, the different altitudes and directions of slopes bring various colors of green, white, yellow, red and purple all over the whole mountain.
The color green can best portray China today when the country advocates green development. In Anji County in east China's Zhejiang Province, the green bamboo forests cover the endless mountains, which embodies the harmony between man and nature.More on:

新疆富蘊神鐘山 Shenzhong Mountain,Fuyun,Xinjiang (China)

神鍾山又叫“阿米爾薩拉峰”,緣於當地哈薩克民間流傳的一段美麗淒涼的傳說:有個小伙子叫洪太吉,他是蒙古王的兒子,他愛上一個姑娘叫薩拉,但姑娘卻愛上了他的朋友阿米爾,為了薩拉兩個好友反目為仇.阿米爾和薩拉帶領一隊人馬私奔,跋山涉水來到鐘山腳下,他驚嘆於鍾山的雄奇壯麗,爬到鐘山之頂,安營扎寨.夏天喝雨水,吃山頂上的野蔥,野白菜;冬天打獵,他們平靜而幸福地生活著.洪太吉得知心愛的人與朋友私奔,心生仇恨,發誓一定要找到他們.終於有一天,他在鐘山發現了他們的踪跡,於是他在鐘山對面的一座山上駐紮下來,隔河相望,等待薩拉出現.一天,薩拉背對額河,梳理美麗的長發,這時,洪太吉對著薩拉的背影射出了仇恨的箭,殷紅的鮮血滴落在小溪里,薩拉從鐘山頂上掉了下來.阿米爾悲痛欲絕,從山上跳下,他們雙雙落在額河中間的一塊巨石上,鮮血染紅了巨石.據說,至今這座巨石中間的凹陷處仍盛滿了血紅色的水,向人們訴說著發生在這裡的愛情悲劇.據說,冬天下過雪後,有人在某塊山崖上,可以看到阿米爾抱薩拉欣賞著神鍾山的美麗冬景.

Water quality reaches four-year best in Xinjiang, China in 2017. More than 98 percent of water samples in the region's 78 rivers could be a source for drinking water, according to statistics from Xinjiang's environmental bureau.

Autumn Scenery of Kanas Scenic Area Wows Tourists
Kanas scenic area of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region presents a stunning autumn scenery and wows tourists.
More than 20,000 Chinese holiday-makers visited the area on Sunday, the second day of a three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, according to management of the scenic area.
To cope with surged arrivals, the scenic park has increased shuttle bus service.
The scenic area, classified as AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration, is well known for Kanas Lake, Kanas nature reserve, and Kanas geopark.
