Travel Malaysia: Time Capsule Retreat & Rainbow Waterfall (ep 18)
We decided to end our road trip and stop by at Sungai Lembing's famous Time Capsule Retreat for a night's stay and joined the trek to the Rainbow Waterfall.

A beautiful falls with one to multiple rainbows (depending on timing)located in Sg. Lembing, Pahang. You need to reach there by 8ish. The mythical rainbow vanishes by 10am! Reachable by 4x4 (17kms) and another 1hr slippery hike up the rocky terrains.

The Jerangkang Falls can be reached from KL - Kuantan road. About 30 KM after passing Maran, turn left at a signboard 'Hutan Lipur Jerangkang'. The road leads through rubber plantations and passes under the new KL - Kuantan Highway. For the last part a 4WD is needed, but that may change as work is in progress on the access road.
Near this waterfall there is a perfect place for camping. Still clean, but for how long?

So my friends and I decided on a nature retreat for the weekend, and we’ve decided to chase the Rainbow Waterfalls! Located at Sungai Lembing, Pahang. It’s a 4 hours drive from the Kuala Lumpur City. Suggested to stay overnight at the time capsule retreat for those who want to visit this gem ????
