The Prunkovec Spring, Rakov Škocjan Valley, 2019 July 26
Footage of the never run dry forest creek Prunkovec and nearby effluent cave bearing the same name. This is to prove the brook's classification of effluent cave wrong. The false calssification theory has been advocated by hydrographic academy community of Slovenia (Slovenija), which goes against the well known oral tradition on the spring.
Effluent cave bearing the same name is located couple of meters away, indeed. The never dry brook and effluent cave shouldn't be viewed as one and the same karst phenomenon, however. (©Photo & Ink, by Mitja Fajdiga, Rakek Tourist Association, Slovenia)

Outdoor education in Slovenia - centre Rak in Rakov Škocjan_EN.mp4
Outdoor school is the main activity of the Centre for School and Outdoor Education (Center šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti -- CŠOD). The programme is a supplement to the school curriculum. It includes students of all classes of elementary and secondary schools. CŠOD centres are spread all over Slovenia, far away from a city bustle which enables children to get to know various parts of Slovenia.
Centre Rak in Rakov Škocjan is one of the CŠOD centres, which is specialised for karst exploring - including karst caves, stalagmites, forest and rivers.

About Rakov Skocjan:
This collapse valley, 2.5 kilometres long and 500 metres wide, is famous for its two natural bridges: the Big Natural Bridge, over which the road passes, and the Little Natural Bridge. Flowing through the valley is the Rak stream, which rises in the Zelše Caves and disappears underground in Tkalca Jama, continuing underground in the direction of Planina Cave where it joins the Pivka to form a new river, the Unica. The valley of the Rak is one of the oldest natural parks in Slovenia (protected since 1949).

Caving Small Talk on Mt. Kanin
Short film by Primož Jakopin, with music by Paul Kevan, was made on January 14, 2012, during and ascent to the cave BC4 on Mt. Kanin, Slovenia. The system BC4 - Mala Boka is the second deepest cave through trip in the world. It starts at 1.730 m above sea level (BC4 entrance) and after 4.997 m of horizontal distance and 1.297 m of vertical denivelation, accomplished in around 20 hours, the entrance of Mala Boka just above the valley of the river Soča is reached at the end of the through trip. The author of the film accompanied such a through-party to the entrance of BC4 and asked the participants a few questions - who are they, how they started to go caving and about a single statement about caves.
