Safari Ramat Gan or Zoological Center Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan is a zoo and is also an African drive-through safari. The largest animal collection in the Middle-East can be found here.

Visitors to Safari Ramat Gan can enjoy a drive through a recreated African safari area in their own vehicles, and may stop at any time to observe the free-ranging herds of antelope, rhinos, zebras and many other animal species.

At the zoo area, visitors can appreciate the diverse variety of mammals, birds and reptiles, from all around the world.

The Zoological Center Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan (commonly known as the Safari Ramat Gan) in the Tel Aviv District of Israel is the largest collection of wildlife in human care in the Middle East. The 250-acre site consists of both a drive-through African safari area and a modern outdoor zoo. The African animal park opened to the general public in 1974. In 1981, the zoo was established in the middle of the park to replace the Tel Aviv Zoo, which had closed down.

הספארי - המרכז הזואולוגי רמת גן עש ישראל פלד הוא אתר בילוי הממוקם ברמת גן, ליד הפארק הלאומי, וכולל בשטחו ספארי בסגנון אפריקאי, גן חיות ובית חולים לחיות בר. הספארי הוא אחד מחמשת גני החיות החברים בארגון גני החיות הישראלי ומשתתף ב-60 תוכניות שימור בינלאומיות ולאומיות לחיות בסכנת הכחדה. בנוסף הספארי מחזיק בכמה שיאים בינלאומיים, לדוגמה עדר ההיפופוטמים בגני חיות הגדול ביותר בעולם או הפיל האפריקאי הידוע הגדול ביותר בעולם. הספארי הוא הגדול ביותר בישראל ובמזרח התיכון באוסף (מספר המינים) בעלי החיים והוא מיוחד בעולם כולו בשל העדרים הגדולים הרועים בשטח האפריקני. בספארי ישנם כ-1,100 בעלי חיים מכל העולם (מתוכם כ-700 בשטח האפריקני ו-400 בגן החיות), ביניהם: 70 מיני יונקים, 49 מיני עופות ו-11 מיני זוחלים.

Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan - Famous Destination

Tel Aviv, with its golden beaches and lively cosmopolitan outlook is Israel's most modern metropolis. Most visitors land here to soak up the sun, shop-until-they-drop in cutesy boutiques, and enjoy some serious foodie action at the city's renowned café and restaurant scene. The beach may be the major tourist attraction, but Tel Aviv has more points of interest than its famous strip of sand. Nicknamed The White City, the town was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status in 2003 in recognition of its fine examples of Bauhaus architecture (an early 20th-century Modernist style of building). The city itself is full of things to do, with plenty of small museums and funky art galleries that provide excellent sightseeing opportunities. Jaffa, just to the south, is a gorgeously well-preserved old city with a port that has been in use for thousands of years and is now revitalized with restaurants and cafés.
