Laxmi Narayan Temple
Built in 10th century by Sahil Verman, and enlarged in succeeding centuries, the Laxmi Narayan Temple complex is a group of six main shrines dedicated to either Shiva or Vishnu. Built in the Shikhara style, these shrines are famous for its finely executed classical forms.
Akhand Chandi Palace
Once the residence of the Chamba ruling family, Akhand Chandi Palace is known for its unique style of architecture. Built by Umed Singh around 1747-1765 AD and renovated by the Sham Singh, the building has now been converted into a college.
Bhuri Singh Museum
Named after the famous ruler Raja Bhuri, the museum is a repository of many masterpieces of the Chamba, Kangra and Basholi schools of painting. The museum remain closed on Mondays and public holidays.
Chaugan
A large grassy meadow in the centre of the Chamba town, it is the hub of all activities.
Hari Rai Temple
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Hari Rai Temple was built in11th century. Constructed in Shikhara style the temple stands on a stone platform.
Rang Mahal
It was built by Raja Umed Singh in the mid 18th century, with additions made in the later years by his successors. The paintings on the walls of this palace are splendid, based on religious themes with Krishna stories being particularly popular. One of the largest monuments of Chamba, Rang Mahal was built by Raja Umed Singh in the mid 18th century, with additions made in the later years by his successors.
Bajreshwari Temple
Dedicated to Devi Bajreshwari, Goddess of lightning, this ancient temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Situated on the northern most corner of the town at the end of Jansali Bazaar, the shrine is built in the Shikhara style with wooden Chhatris. The Shikhara of the temple is elaborately carved. There are two other minor temples on either side of the main shrine.

BHURI SINGH MUSEUM - CHAMBA
Founded in the year 1908 to honour Raja Bhuri Singh, Bhuri Singh Museum is located in close proximity to Chaugan town of Chamba. Initially this museum was started with the paintings added by Raja Bhuri Singh but now it includes rich collections of items like carved doors from the old palaces, copper plate grants, frescoes, miniature paintings, and many other items of the historical period. The Prasastis of Sarahan, Mul Kihar and Devi-ri-kothi are in Sarda script, recollecting the medieval history of Chamba.

Today we are going to share the 1 st episode
of our Delhi Agra Jaipur tour plan. This famous tourist circuit is also popular as India’s Golden
triangle. It connects our capital Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. It is called Golden Triangle because of the
triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur on a map.
