Sri Gavi Ranganathaswamy Temple is located in Gavirangapura Village of Hosadurga Taluk, Chitradurga District, and Karnataka. It is about 29 km from Hosadurga, 111 km from Chitradurga and about 183 km away from Bangalore city. The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Gavi Ranganathaswamy. The temple complex also houses temples for Sri Kencharayaswamy and Kaadarayaswamy, Goddess Lakshmi, Sri Anantha Padmanabhaswamy and Sri Anjaneyaswamy. This temple is administrated by Muzrai Department of Government of Karnataka.
ಶ್ರೀ ಗವಿ ರಂಗನಾಥಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹೊಸದುರ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಗವಿರಂಗಾಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಹೊಸದುರ್ಗದಿಂದ 29 ಕಿ.ಮೀ., ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗದಿಂದ 111 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ 183 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ದೇವರೆಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಗವಿ ರಂಗನಾಥಸ್ವಾಮಿ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಇತರ ದೇವರುಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆಂಚರಾಯಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಡರಾಯಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ದೇವಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತ ಪದ್ಮನಾಭಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ. ಈ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮುಜುರಾಯಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

Ranganathaswamy Temple in Bengaluru
Ranganathaswamy Temple is an ancient and famous Hindu Vaikhanasa temple in Bangalore, India, dating back to the 16th century C.E dedicated to Lord Ranganathaswamy.The temple is built in the Vijayanagara style of architecture and has beautifully carved granite pillars reminiscent of Hoysala influence.
