RAP JUMPING! Running Down a Building
RAP JUMPING! Or forward abseiling!
It uses the same setup as abseiling only you go down face first. Rap jumping was invented by the Australian Special Air Service Regiment as a faster alternative to abseiling with a better line of sight. There are very few places in the world you can do this commercially and the company in Melbourne, Australia is the only easy one to find. The company, called Rap Jumping, was founded in 1989 and does regular jumps close to downtown Melbourne at Urban Central Hostel. It was an epic experience and I'd do it again.

Rap Jumping is a thrill-seeking adventure sport that involves forward abseiling and rappelling! You will descend a vertical surface by means of a fixed rope in a standing position while facing the ground. And the best thing is that Urban Central is the jump site!
The price for Rap Jumping is generally $79 per person, but if you’re staying at Urban Central the price will only be $39! This includes a total of 3 jumps, harness, helmet and gloves as well as professional training.

You are in total control of your speed of descent, but there is also a brake person as a double safety measure.
