Hike Douglas Mountain, Sebago, Maine

I take a walk over to Douglas Mountain and up to the observation tower built in 1925. You can drive there and park in the town run parking area, then walk up from there(the preserve is now owned by the town). I show my climb up the trail in real time so you can see what the climb is like. There's an incredible amount of blueberries up there. I ate a bunch. The top is 1,392ft. above sea level, not a monster :) It took me longer to edit this video than to walk up and back from my place. My camera is on the fritz and can't handle direct sunlight(things look bleached out), so I had to go up on a cloudy day. I mention Brown's pond but I think what I was looking at was Hancock pond. Brown's is almost visible between me and Hancock but it's just behind the trees. The big green place used to be the glass museum(it's kind of a ritzy neighborhood up there). The museum has moved, I think to Naples, the next town over.
