Fall Scenes at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area (Milton, ON - October 2017)
The views from the top of the Niagara Escarpment in Halton Region are normally quite spectacular, in any season. Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area is no exception. The fall colours during my visit were varied, though I found some vibrant reds near the escarpment edge. There are wonderful views of nearby Milton, Oakville, Mississauga and downtown Toronto. Mount Nemo, Lake Ontario and a western portion of the Niagara Peninsula can be seen to the south.
This video was shot in mid-October, 2017.
A Mild Early December at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area (Milton, ON - 2016)
People from across southern Ontario visit Rattlesnake Point to enjoy the views from atop the Niagara Escarpment. This video was shot at various points in the park, including the Nassagaweya Canyon Lookout and the head of Rattlesnake Point. There are excellent views of the surrounding countryside. One can also view the urban centre of Burlington, Lake Ontario and the Niagara Peninsula to the south. However, to see one of the most interesting features of the park, you don't need to look any further than the escarpment's rock faces. Growing out of the rock crevices are 800 year old cedars.

RATTLESNAKE POINT HIKING | OCT 13 2018
Hiking at Rattlesnake Point never disappoints! The trail is the perfect distance, lots to see, and its beautiful as i remembered. Its super close to Toronto and the view really is the best. There is an entrance fee per head ($7)but parking is free. Last time i remembered the trail from Crawford lake to rattlesnake being a bit rough, so i recommended proper boots, its not so bad if you're wandering just around rattlesnake, but its definitely more rugged than most places.

Kelso Conservation Area Spring Hike, Milton Canada
Home to the Attawandaron, this 400 hectare area was the 1830 Alexander farm. Conservation Halton dammed Sixteen Mile Creek in 1961 for Kelso Lake reservoir. The Niagara Escarpment's Milton Outlier was quarried for limestone in the 1900-era lime kilns. The Bruce Trail and Glen Eden Ski Area use the slopes today.
