Aerial Footage of the new Rattray Park, Kumasi
The Rattray park Kumasi is an ultra modern recreational park located at the center of the Garden City. The park was named after Robert Sutherland Rattray, CBE, known as Captain R.S. Rattray(1881-1938). He was an early Africanist and a student of the Ashanti.
We paid to go to the Park in Ghana | Rattray Park
We didn't see any playgrounds while driving around in Ghana so when we finally saw some slides we had to visit. We were charged 5 Ghana Cedi each to enter ???? That comes to about a dollar. Watch this video and comment below if you think it was worth it!

Kumasi: Rattray park leisure centre revamped ahead of Christmas festivities | Citi Newsroom
There has been an upgrade of a popular amusement park in the Ashanti Region, the Rattray Park.
A Citi News report in 2018 revealed how facilities at the Park that cost 4.4 million dollars to build, were deteriorating and thereby reducing patronage drastically.
Barely a few months after that report, renovation works began with new facilities added to existing ones at the Park. Citi News' Hafiz Tijani returned to the Park and reports.

One of Kumasi's most serene environments. very good environment to relax and connect with family and friends and also connect with nature as well. It has a dancing fountain which lights up at night. it's so beautiful, it can make you forget about all your troubles.

Rattray Park, the newly built amusement park in Kumasi is such a beautiful place to visit with family and friends. Though I wish they named it otherwise; this park and the entire city reiterate people of Kumasi commitment in building a city without destroying nature.
