▶️ Coolest neighbourhoods in Barcelona: EL RAVAL!! ????
Hey travelers! I will be uploading videos about the MOST WORTH IT AREAS to visit in Barcelona, so stay tuned!
In today's video let me show you EL RAVAL. A controversial area in this city. Some people love it because of its cultural diversity, restaurants options, etc. And some people hate it because there are a lot of pickpockets and it's not the cleanest neighbourhood in town...
I think it's worth it to give it a try!

Inside the The Drug Flats of Barcelona
Since 2016, criminal gangs have occupied more than a hundred flats in central Barcelona to sell and use drugs, turning them into so-called narcopisos. Neighbors living in what were previously peaceful areas complain of fights, stabbings, and sometimes being terrorized out of their own homes.
But despite their calls for help, it can take months for the police to intervene. VICE investigates how the narcopisos operate, how they affect the city’s residents, and why they are so prevalent in Barcelona.

Walking in BARCELONA / Spain - Raval and Gothic Quarter - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Starting in El Raval near the Apollo theatre we walk a bit around there first and cross over La Rambla towards the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic). There we see the big Cathedral and enjoy walking the narrow streets all around.
A few churches here and there like Iglesia de Santa Maria del Mar (in the thumbnail) and some museums are inviting to spend some time in this district of Barcelona.
We end this walk right in the centre at the Plaça de Catalunya.

Rambla Del Raval, Barcelona, Spain
A short walking street with food and a flea market, plus colorful characters during the night at Rambla Del Raval in Barcelona Spain October 2012......
Collavo at El Raval; Barcelona, Spain.
The good, the bad, the ugly.
The 'El Raval' district of Barcelona certainly has a bit of it all.
Conveniently located right next to the tourist-filled 'Las Ramblas', we had decided to make 'El Raval' our home for the 10 days we would be in Barcelona.
Being the area closes to the port, 'El Raval' is known for having a big immigrant population. It also had the reputation for being one of the more dangerous areas of Barcelona, and was considered a no-go area for many as recently as 20 years ago...(cont.)

Walking in BARCELONA / Spain ????????- Poble Sec, El Raval to Plaça de España - 4K 60fps (UHD)
This time in Barcelona we start near the Sala Apolo at the Jardins de les 3 Xemeneies - Barcelona's graffity park. We cross the Av del Parallel walk around side streets of Poble Sec before crossing over to El Ravel on our way to La Rambla.
On the famous walking street La Rambla we check the market La Boqueria and walk all the way from Plaça Universitat to Plaça Espanya. We see a less touristy side of Barcelona on our way within the distance of three metro stations.
At the Plaça Espanya we are almost at the end. We finally walk up to the Magic fountains of Montjuïc, which operate mostly on weekend evenings. We finish this walk up at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya - the National Art Museum of Catalunya. There we enjoy a great view over Barcelona.
