Video 1
I LOVE CRETAN DIET ! Chania Crete October Food Vlog 73
The Cretan Diet is famous around the world! It is the original Mediterranean diet Culture, history and geography have helped create a combination of foods and lifestyle which provides a unique diet that is highly nutritious. Cretans have eaten only what their land and Sea produced, lots of fruit, vegetables and sea foods. Crete island produces in abundance is olives. So the Cretans eat a lot of olive oil, more than other Mediterranean people and they don't use any other type of oil, even to make sweets. The sunny island of Crete has high mountains and deep valleys also provides herbs and aromatic plants, fruit trees and vegetables, wheat and barley. Bonsooouuuuaaaaarrrr petits Guacamole ♥

9 Things To Do In Greece
Do you need some ideas on things to do in Greece? In this video we review 9 things to do with your family in Greece. We explored Athens and the island of Crete which had some amazing off the beaten path adventures. Our first activity that the entire family did was a Fish pedicure. Fish spas are everywhere in Greece as an alternative skincare treatment to exfoliate the feet. It was inexpensive and we all had a good laugh as it was weird to get used to.
The second activity was visiting Minoan Palace which is close to Hereaklion. It was built in 1950BC and destroyed before 1300BC. It was cool to see a part of Greek history. Thirdly we visited the city of Rethymno which is a well preserved medieval town. We saw Fortezza Fortress built by the Ventians. This town has cool cafes and shops. There was a lot of delicious Greek food here too! One of our favorite activities was Psychro Cave which is the birthplace of the mythical god Zeus. It is located above the Lassithi plateau and you can take a donkey ride to the top of the climb. It is a large cave and the kids loved it. If you go to Crete make sure you visit the city of Chainia. This city has a touch of Florence and Venice combined making it very unique. At the harbour entrance there is a 16th century lighthouse with Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences.
If you love the beaches in Greece make sure you see Balos Lagoon. Located 56km northwest of Chania, Balos it is said to be the most photographed beach in Crete. It has turquoise waters with wild natural beauty. You can either get there by ferry from the town of Kissamos or drive up along a mountain with steep cliffs and then do a short hike down through a mars like landscape. Prince Charles and Princess Dianna visited by yacht many years ago. Another must see beach ranked high in our review is Elafonisi beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is located on the southwest side of Crete about 75 km from the town of Chania. This beautiful beach has white sand with pink hues, and turquoise warm waters. A really great beach for families.
If you’re looking for off the beaten path adventure check out Davelis Cave just outside Athens. This mysterious cave has been perplexing locals for years. Located atop mount penteli it has a notorious reputation with reports of paranormal activity. The cave marks the opening to a series of tunnels that run through the mountain and lead to a pool of water in the center if you’re brave enough to see. Numerous tales of strange or abnormal activity include electronics that stop working, water which flows the wrong way, mysterious disappearances of explorers who enter and never emerge again. At the entrance there is an 800 year old creepy church which is still used.
We had to rank The Acropolis in Athens as our number one thing to do because it is epic! An ancient citadel on a rocky outcrop above Athens which contains the remains of several buildings of great architectural and historic significance. The most famous being the Parthenon which was built in 500 BC along with other main buildings. Below the acropolis is the theater of Herod Atticus built by the Romans in 161 AD and is still used today for classical concerts, ballet and performances of high cultural value. Make sure you go early as possible to avoid the crowds and be able to enjoy the location to its fullest.
We hope you enjoy our 9 things to do in Greece!

The blue Lagoon of Greece: Balos exotic beach, island of Crete - Tourist guide
Another of the most exotic beaches in Greece that’s considered one of the finest in the Mediterranean, Balos lies in western Crete near Kissamo. Here the sand glistens pink and white, the water combines the most dazzling shades of blue and green, while the islet of Gramvousa with its Venetian castle adds a fairy-tale note to the scene.
Excursion to Balos: 52km from Chania (or you can take a caique from Kissamos) and you find yourself in one of the most photographed beaches in Crete, the heavenly saltwater Balos lagoon. Relax in its shallow blue-green water, sink your feet into the luminescent sand made up of thousands of broken seashells. Across the way, two islets, Gramvousa and Agria Gramvousa, form a protective perimeter. Enjoy everything Chania has to offer!
Balos is listed as one of the best beaches in the world. This exotic beach-lagoon and rare natural monument is situated between the Gramvousa peninsula and Cape Tigani. Words cannot describe the impressiveness of this place. Nothing can describe what you are about to feel when you see this. When you get to swim in the lukewarm, shallow, turquoise blue waters, relax in the pink sandy beach, which is filled with shells, and admire the natural beauty, the rocks and the cliffs rising above you!
The sandy beach of Balos is adorned by a special kind of vegetation. Shrubby varieties, such as heather, Yenisey, thyme, and lentisc, have impressive shapes and patterns, proving their effort to survive in the adverse environmental conditions of the area, such as the strong northerly winds and the natural instability of the dunes.
The most seductive beaches in Crete
Pictures of the heavenly Balos lagoon in Chania are featured in all the travel guides and glossies.
Welcome to Chania
Chania (60.000 inhabitants) is the capital of the prefecture. It is a beautiful town built by the sea and nicely combining old with new traditions that are visible both in its architecture and lifestyle.
A stroll in the Old Town is a like book on the history of architecture. Venetians, Turks, Egyptians developed and influenced the area from the 13th until the 19th century. Today the Old Town’s buildings have been restored and suitably rearranged. The town is lively and buzzing with activity all year round. A multitude of shops, cafebars, modern and traditional restaurants and meze shops attract a lot of local and foreign visitors. Small boarding houses and luxury suites recalling ther times complete the unique atmosphere of the Old Town. There are lots of surprises inside and outside the city. The delicious traditional Cretan cuisine will revitalize the visitor who needs rest, whether it is served in a village cafe, a country tavern or city restaurant. For centuries the locals have been expressing themselves with inspiration and passion. Everywhere, songs and dances, performances and exhibitions, but also bars, intense night life and summer beach parties fill the air! The pages of the Chania Guide give the visitors all kinds of information, with the hope and purpose of making their stay here as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Chrissi paradise Island, Crete - exotic Greece | Travel Guide
Chrissi island or Gaidouronisi is located 8 miles south of Ierapetra city, in the open Libyan Sea. It is a flat islet very famous for its tropical blue water that cover all possible palette hues of blue and green, the protected forest with large juniper trees and the thousands of broken shells that make the sand pinkish. The residents of Ierapetra love this island and call it simply the Island. It is said that years ago by Gianni Agnelli, the chairman of Ferrari, wanted to buy the island to make it a tourist attraction.
Chrissi takes its name (golden in Greek) after the white sand that covers the entire island and comes mainly from shell debris. The tropical beaches are crowded by many visitors who come by the excursion boats that leave Ierapetra in the morning and return in the afternoon. Chrissi has been declared as an area of natural beauty and it is strictly prohibited to camp and spend your night here. You must keep away from the fragile juniper trees and avoid not collecting sand or shells.
Chrissi island in the Libyan Sea
The ultimate paradise. Chrysi is an almost entirely flat island that from a distance looks like a thin strip of land protruding from the sea. The water around it is shallow, with a striking turquoise colour. The island is covered in powdery pink sand, while the stunning scenery is further enhanced by the scent of cedar.
In addition to the rare cedar forest, in this corner of Crete you’ll have the opportunity to discover ancient trees, as well as more than 120 species of migratory birds that live here. And if luck is on your side, you may encounter the famous sea turtles Caretta caretta, that often visit the island. The emerald green water of the tiny Chrysi island awaits, just 8 nautical miles south of Ierapetra, with boats making daily trips and all-day excursions.
Chrissi (Greek: Χρυσή, golden) is an uninhabited Greek island approximately 15 kilometres (9 miles) south of Crete close to Ierapetra in the Libyan Sea.
You can visit Chrissi by sea from Ierapetra. There is a nudist beach on the north coast of the island. On the western part of the island is the chapel of Saint Nicholas (estimated to date to the 13th century). There are also a salt pan, an old port, some Minoan ruins, a lighthouse and a Roman cemetery. Due to the shallow waters around Chrissi, snorkelling and diving is a popular pastime. The Belegrina, Hatzivolakas, and Kataprosopo bays have a wide diversity of shells.
Chrissi is protected as an area of intense natural beauty. The island has the largest naturally formed Juniperus macrocarpa forest in Europe. There is no fresh drinking water on the island. The majority of trees have an average age of 200 years and average height of up to 7 metres (23 feet), some of the trees are up to 300 years old and 10 metres (33 feet) tall.
The thousands of visitors arriving daily with the boat from Ierapetra to Chrissi island mainly swim on the beach of Belerinina or Golden Beach. Bright blue water, white sand with pink shades from the thousands of broken shells, the junipers that hold the sand with their huge roots is the backdrop that makes anyone fall in love with this place.
The island can be accessed from Ierapetra by ferry and the trip lasts about 50 minutes. The boats stop at the south side of the island and to get to Belegrina you have to cross the juniper wood to the north side of the island for about 10 minutes. Collecting shells, sand and anything else on the island is strictly forbidden, and great care is needed not to break branches from the protected junipers. The beach is initially rocky and then turns sandy.

15 Must See Beaches In The World.
Are you unsure of where to spend your next beach vacation? Our family has traveled the world and have been to some amazing beaches and we are excited to share them with you in this video. It was too hard to rank them so we pulled the names of our top must see world beaches out of a jar and reviewed them that way. Make sure you watch until the end as there are amazing beaches all the way through the video.
We hope this gives you some inspiration when making your travel plans with your family to see top beaches around the world. The beaches we review are also kid friendly making them a perfect holiday destination for families.
We visited beaches in Europe including Italy, Greece and Croatia.
Italy took us to two top ranked beaches on Elba Island, the place where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled. The ocean was clean, clear, safe and stunningly beautiful on these two beaches known as Cavoli beach and Biodola beach. The water was warm like bath water and the perfect place for kids to play.
The other beach in Italy is called Monterosso Beach and is the only sandy beach along Cinque Terre's coastline. ...Monterroso is part of Cinque Terre (the 5 villages) and is a warm beautiful place to explore after a long hike along the famous Cinque Terre hiking trail. Playgrounds are nearby and Gelato as well. The water is warm, calm and safe for kids.
Croatia beaches are also spectacular. Most of the beaches are pebbly not sandy but the water is clear like lake water and you can see right to the bottom. The beach we reviewed just outside of Split called Strozanac beach in Podstrana is perfect for kids and families. There’s awesome food and ice cream shops nearby too!
Last but not least in Europe was two famous beaches in Crete, Greece. Elafonisi beach and Balos beach are known for having pink sand and warm beautiful lagoons to take a swim. Balos lagoon is also the most photographed beach on Crete and Price Charles and Lady Diana visited it many years ago. These two beaches are also world ranked beaches and we were so lucky to see them!
Next on our list was a long flight to visit the stunning beaches of Western Australia. One pristine beach along the coast was one near Margaret River called Hamelin Bay where friendly stingrays get up close and personal. This beach is definitely a must see white sand beach. Another must see beach called Scarborough beach is in Perth, Australia and has many activates including surfing, windsurfing and many shops and restaurants along the beach. It had a huge playground and is a haven for families.
On our world travels we hopped through South East Asia where we reviewed two tropical beaches of Thailand, both with aqua green water and fine white powdery sand. One beach was located on the island of Koh Samui called Chewang beach. The other beach was our favorite beach ever and is accessible only by boat. We took a long tail boat to see this one and couldn’t get over the green clear, warm water, tropical fish and stunning limestone cliffs. The beach was called Hong Island Bay and the sand was white and powdery like brown sugar or flour.
If you’ve ever been to Hawaii you know this is true paradise. We reviewed two beaches on the island of Oahu known to be frequented by former president Obama. Warm blue water, fine powdery white sand, a laid back vibe and not very crowded make them the perfect beaches to hang out with your family. You can body surf, boogie board and swim at these beaches. The names are Waimanolo and Lanikai beaches.
One of our favorite family vacations was our visit to the tropical paradise of Costa Rica where people live by the phrase “Pura Vida” meaning pure life. Costa Ricans are known for living life to the fullest. Here we reviewed two amazing beaches, Flamingo beach and Playa Avellanas with a surf bar called Lolas. If you go to Costa Rica, you must see these beaches.
Last but not least is Sombrio beach in our home country of Canada. This beach is located along the Juan de Fuca marine trail off the coast of Vancouver Island, a two hour drive from Victoria. This beach is on a rugged coastline with stunning scenery and a hidden waterfall.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (8/9) Movie CLIP - His Heart Grows Three Sizes (2000) HD
How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie clips:
BUY THE MOVIE:
Don't miss the HOTTEST NEW TRAILERS:
CLIP DESCRIPTION:
The Grinch's (Jim Carrey) heart grows three sizes when he realizes that Christmas still goes on in Whoville even if he did steal all the presents.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
He's mean, he's green, and he's doesn't like the Yuletide season one bit -- Jim Carrey stars in this live-action adaptation of the classic children's story by Dr. Seuss (aka Theodore Geisel). High atop Mt. Crumpet, the Grinch (Carrey) observes the residents of Whoville joyously preparing to celebrate Christmas. The Grinch was born in Whoville years ago, but was shunned due to his scary appearance, and his unrequited love for Martha May Whovier has turned him bitter; the good cheer of the Whos has been a thorn in his side ever since. Finally the Grinch decides he's had enough of all this happiness, and with the wary aid of his dog Max, the Grinch conspires to steal Christmas from Whoville, making off with their presents, holiday decorations, Christmas trees, and everything else used to enjoy the holiday. Molly Shannon, Christine Baranski, Jeffrey Tambor, and Clint Howard play several of the citizens of Whoville, while Anthony Hopkins narrates (taking over from the late Boris Karloff, who memorably read Dr. Seuss' story in Chuck Jones' 1966 animated adaptation of the story). Ron Howard directs.
