Driving around SereKunda Market / Gambia
Hey viewers, here a little video from the bizarre roads of the Gambia again. I was buying some new shirts at the Serekunda market, with Dodoo Faal last month, and made this video. Google did not block the music this time, so you are able to hear the great sound of his Mitsubishi Outlander. As the Sayerrjobe Avenue was in a traffic jam again,.. we took a de-tour around the back of the Serekunda market to avoid it. These streets have no names, but call it direction Dippa Kunda / Manjai Kunda. The taxi in front of us, with the, just bought, 2 persons mattress on top is doing exactly the same. Yes anything is possible on these streets, it keeps amazing me. Just look at the sides of the roads, or on the roads itself and be surprised about all the things you can see here. Enjoy! Questions about the Gambia? Please leave a comment below and I'll answer as soon as I can.

Driving through Serekunda, The Gambia, Africa
On our 3 days trip through Gambia we're driving through the City Serekunda in The Gambia, smallest state in Africa
Gambian real compound life @Jarra / between Soma & Choya
This video gives you an impression of what the daily rural life of a Gambian family looks like on their compound. Starting with the surroundings, ducks & sheep's, giving the kids some candy, up to making the fire to cook the rice, doing the dishes, the toilet area next to the harvest of the field. A cow that almost died by a car around 3:00 in this video, followed by eating, with sauce for me as a guest, traditional green tea making (ataya), more animals, bringing water into the house, the little kitchen garden, the half open fence. A long day for this European guy, but real daily life for a lot of African people this way.
-----

Serekunda market in Gambia on a Monday
This video gives you an impression of the Serekunda market in Gambia. The biggest market of Gambia, I really like to walk here. This is recorded on a Monday and it's a lot busier than my previous recordings on Sunday. Every time I see & discover new things. You can literally buy almost everything on this market, Starting in the official clothing section today. People don't like to be recorded here, but they don't notice it this way. The smells are great, you can recognize the market on the typical multi colored parasols. Beware of pick pockets thief's and don't forget to negotiate on every price! Questions? Post them below and I'll answer them, or maybe I see you on this market sometime...

Cepler hırsızları seçip her fiyata pazarlık etmeyi unutmayın! Sorular?

HOLIDAY 2017. river gambia boat trip
DescriptionThe Gambia River (formerly known as the River Gambra) is a major river in West Africa, running 1,120 kilometres (700 mi) from the Fouta Djallon plateau in north Guinea westward through Senegal and the Gambia to the Atlantic Ocean at the city of Banjul. It is navigable for about half that length.
The river is strongly associated with The Gambia, the smallest country in mainland Africa, which consists of little more than the downstream half of the river and its two banks.

The Gambia (2) - Two trips with Muhammed Sisawo - Crocodile Pool Bakau and Serekunda Market / 2018
Two trips with our Personal Driver Muhammed Sisawo. We went for the first tour to the Crocodile Pool in Bakau. There's also a museum and Muhammed told us something about the story of The Gambia and the things inside. After that, we see the Crocodiles, most of them are friendly and you can come to them and touch them. No problem, they already had food.
When we see it all, we drive to the Serekunda Market. The biggest market in The Gambia. Muhammed told us what's going on there. A very bizzy place with lots of people, noise and smells. On the market we buy some fruit.
