[Wikipedia] Red Bridge, Yerevan
The Red Bridge (Armenian: Կարմիր կամուրջ, Karmir kamurj; also known as the Old Bridge of Hrazdan; and also known as Bridge of Khoja Plav, Խոջա Փլավի կամուրջ, Khoja Plavi kamurj) is a ruined 17th-century bridge on the Hrazdan River, in Yerevan, Armenia.
It was called ‘red’ because as it is built of red tuff. The bridge was also called Khoja-plav bridge for Khoja-plav, a wealthy man from Kanaker who financed its reconstructruction.
The total length of the bridge was 80 meters and its height was 11 meters. It had 4 arches. Two were in the middle and were squiggly, the other two arches were on the banks of the Hrazdan River.
Before the 1679 earthquake there was a bridge in the same place but it was ruined by the earthquake. It provided economic connections between the Yerevan Fortress (in place of the Yerevan Ararat Wine Factory) and the Ararat Plain.

Meet the Last Tightrope Dancer | Yerevan, Armenia 360 VR Video | Discovery TRVLR

Meet Hovsep Beglaryan, one of the last living Armenian tightrope dancers. An orphan, Hovesp was trained by Zhora and Knyaz, once fierce competitors who united over their dedication to keep this art alive. Tightrope dancing, once an extremely respected art, has been fading from existence in recent years. A few decades ago there were more than 20 families practicing this art throughout Armenia but today there are only a few who continue the tradition.

ARMENIA TRAVEL | TRAVEL VLOG | DAY 1 (TAGALOG)
Hi. This is my first time to visit Yerevan, Armenia. Been there in the month of November and luckily, it is already at the time of winter season which happens to be my first snow experience. Was surprised as most of the things I've spent are all budget friendly. The weather is really cold even during late in the afternoon particularly at night. This is treated as one of the safest countries as what the locals are telling.
