Interview Mark about Oilfield golf tournament at Red Mountain

We turn now to our interview with Mark Cameron, Organiser of the Phuket Oilfield Classic golf tournament. The Golf tournament was held at Red Mountain Golf Course, Kathu, Phuket, on 3-4 April. It also raised about 800,000 baht for Phuket Sunshine Village, a home for orphans & poor children at Ko Sirey. Michael Brasier, Golf Operation Manager of Red Mountain course, collected scores from golfers and then we asked Mark to tell us more about the golf event:

Loch Palm Golf Club Phuket

A relatively easy course set in valley surrounded by jungle-clad hills. The first few holes skirt a large lake but after you cut inland the course becomes easier. Not too many really exciting holes but challenging enough for most players. The course is in excellent condition, but the greens can be inconsistent with varying speeds but if you take your caddies’ advice they can usually pick the right line for you and give you advice on the speed.
