Traditional Pugliese Farmhouse For Sale In Alberobello.

Just 3 km from the centre of Alberobello, the enchanting UNESCO Heritage village with its unique trulli architecture, is Masseria Bianca, a characteristic structure dating to the late 1800s composed of a series of trullis, with eleven cones and a typical lamia with star vaulted ceiling. The fixtures are of optimum quality, the building's bare hewn stone structure, which forms domes intersected by arches, gives it an almost prehistoric look and, thanks to the care and precision of its construction, reminds one of Romanesque churches. The bathrooms are particularly well crafted, their flooring and cement-resin wall treatment in perfect harmony with the stone walls and domes, and with the prevailing simple atmosphere of understated elegance.Outdoor spaceThe terrain around the building measures more than 1.2 hectares and is graced with flagstone paths that stand out against the dark soil surrounded by the strong trunks of ages-old olive trees.Not far from the building is a lovely swimming pool with a terrace paved with local stone.Usage and potentialThe masseria is in a quiet location yet near the town centre and not far from the shoreline, and can therefore be used as a private home, vacation home in which to also host friends, or rented out to up-scale foreign tourists on a weekly basis, as it is now.

Questo Vespa Club è lieto di comunicare che su approvazione della Fiera di Pordenone, il 6 settembre 2014 verrà effettuata in Pordenone una Rievocazione Storica di una Gara Nazionale di Regolarità su un percorso di circa Km. 270 per la disputa del
II. TROFEO FIERA DI PORDENONE FRIULI – VENEZIA GIULIA

Il percorso della gara comprenderà ben 3 Provincie: Pordenone, Udine e Venezia.
Dalle suggestive bellezze della Valcellina si passerà a quelle storiche di Porcia e Sesto al Reghena, attraversando Portogruaro, ultimo lembo di terra del Leone di San Marco, arrivando alle spiagge di Lignano Sabbiadoro e si concluderà a Pordenone, la piccola “Manchester del Friuli”.
Date le naturali bellezze del percorso, la gara assume un particolare interesse dal lato turistico, spettacolare, sportivo non agonistico.
Il Vespa Club Organizzatore, mentre si riserva di far seguire quanto prima il regolamento, confida in una larga partecipazione di tutte le Rappresentanze dei Vespisti e con questo auspicio, porge cordiali saluti.

Have You Seen A Scorpene Lately

Have you seen a scorpene of late? Spelt scorpene. Not scorpion. I meant the scorpene submarine. Not the arachnid. Chile has four scorpene submarines, if I am not mistaken. Took along my three sons -- crew cut; long-haired and uncombed. Coincidently, Aimann and Aizat came to Chile for a vacation. Went down to Talcahuano the Chilean submarine base with our Chief of Navy Admiral Tan Sri Ramlan Mohamed Ali who was on an official visit to Chile. Took a flight in a Navy aircraft from their base at the coastal town of Valparaiso, west of Santiago. Capt. Sandokan, the name of the famous fictional Malaysian pirate in a novel written by Italian Emilio Salgari in 1883, piloted the flight. At the Submarine Headquarters were given the ceremonial military welcome before proceeding to see the submarines. Due to military sensitivity, few shots of the submarines were taken. Had an opportunity to go down the sub. Cannot imagine living a month holed up in the tube. After the visit, were hosted to a lunch before flying back to Santiago. Well, happy to be an honorary submariner tho did not have the opportunity to go for a dive.

Also visited the Huasar a Peruvian navy ship captured by the Chileans in the War of the Pacific back in the 19th Century.
