She is the marketing & training coordinator. I was so happy to have gotten the chance to get a personal tour with her. Not only was she kind hearted , but very well educated on the company and its history. I would highly suggest checking the mercier orchard out if you are in the blue ridge area .
Mercier Orchards, nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, is a family owned and operated apple orchard. Started back in 1943 by Bill & Adele Mercier, Mercier Orchards offers it's visitors a fun filled experience for the whole family! From our seasonal U-PICKS and tractor rides to our world famous bakery, our deli, large market store, and winery.

September in Georgia means it’s time for cooler temperatures, beautiful leaves, and Georgia apples. In fact, markets are getting ready for the thousands of people that will soon be packing North Georgia. The Monitor’s John Holcomb visited one orchard to see how they're preparing for the upcoming weeks after a difficult growing season.
