Bahamas Abandoned Waterfront Properties 1.3

There are thousands of acres of simply abandoned property in the Bahamas. Families died or people moved on decades ago.

I specialise in long abandoned beachfront and waterfront properties that are currently too small in value or require too much detective work to be of interest to any overpriced Regular Real Estate Brokers. You will not find these listed on websites anywhere.

I take my time to visit each island and video only those properties I stumble across that interest me.

Each property may require about a years worth of documentary research at the Nassau Land Registry Offices (which resembles something out of Hogwarts library), and then once the last recorded owner’s records are obtained and a full legal description along with a survey, after a visit to the Tax Revenue Office to identify any tax liabilities, then I have to locate living relatives if possible anywhere in the world to negotiate a deal directly, otherwise a petition will have to be filed with the Nassau Court to obtain a title.

Bakers Bay Golf Course and Coral Reef Destruction

GREAT GUANA CAY, Bahamas -- Massive amounts of reef-killing fertilizer are seeping from a controversial shoreline golf megadevelopment on a tiny Bahamas island favored by well-heeled U.S. tourists, and are causing coral disease and reef-smothering algae blooms on one of the region's most pristine coral reefs, U.S. marine biologists reported at a scientific conference this month.

Scientists in January surveyed the reefs on Great Guana Cay, about 200 miles east of West Palm Beach, FL, and confirmed residents' worst nightmare: coral diseases and algae had risen dramatically on the reefs nearest the sprawling Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club since its 2010 construction.

This video proves that claims made by a Baker's Bay vice president that images and video of algae were not from the vicinity of their golf course are false.
