The Low Isles Reef is just 15 minutes away from Port Douglas and you won't get seasick! The trip is 2 ¼ hours all together, which includes 1 ½ of snorkelling. This will give you half a day to do something else.
We visit the reef at Low Isles (not the Island) - one of the Great Barrier Reefs most spectacular coral cays.
This is also where our glass bottom boat is located so even if you don't swim you can still see the spectacular reef,
turtles and diverse marine life.

Situated 15 kilometres north-east of Port Douglas, the Low Isles comprise a four-acre coral cay surrounded by 55 acres of reef.
With an abundance of marine life and coral and a large population of sea turtles, Low Isles is a perfect day or few hours out.
Snorkel right from the beach, or explore the island and find the active lighthouse. An ideal spot for couples and families alike for the range in tours suited to all tastes and budgets.
