Reef Teach Cairns PROMO Short video 1 30
Reef Health and Impacts on the Great Barrier Reef
When you see white on a reef, people's minds automatically go to coral bleaching. This short video aims to give the public a great overview of coral impacts and show that not everything that is white is necessarily bad. All filmed in January 2018 by Interns from the Marine Discovery Project.
Kid Friendly Snorkeling at Green Island: Great Barrier Reef. Cairns, Australia
GoPro video of snorkeling at Green Island, part of the great barrier reef in Australia, on our 2016 world tour. We booked a ferry ride through Everything you need to snorkel is included in the fee. Super cute island, bathroom and changing facilities. Snack bar. Really is a great, easy and affordable way to see the reef if you have young kids. Before we headed out on this adventure we attended the reef teach class. They teach you all about what marine life you'll see or you should look for. I highly recommend this class.
Dive and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef with a Marine Biologist
The largest living structure on the planet, diving or snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef is a must-do experience and from Cairns it’s as easy as boarding one of the many tour boats from the Marina.
To really go underneath the surface, you can now join a marine biologist on a guided expedition. Marine biologist and owner of Reef Teach Gareth Phillips takes us on an in-depth journey of the Great Barrier Reef and educates us on this magnificent natural wonder.
Reef Teach is a land-based information show that gives visitors to Tropical North Queensland the chance to slip beneath the waves and gain an unbeatable life experience on their holiday (before they dive).

REEF FISHING IN CAIRNS VLOG (SPORT FISHING CHARTER) | 06-03-2019
Join Robyn and I where we go reef fishing in Cairns for a day!
This adventure was something I organised several days prior and it cost $240 per person. If you love fishing or want an adventure in Cairns, definitely check out this sport fishing charter! You won't regret it.
Our day started at around 6 am in the morning where we walked to the marina to check in to our boat.
We spent the entire day on the boat and had the time of our lives. I caught the biggest fish I think I have ever caught :-) Robyn and I caught around 7 or so fish each. We had plenty to go around.
Some of those fish were cooked by the local restaurant (for around $30 or so!)
Awesome experience!

Great Barrier Reef [ National Geographic Documentary HD 2017 ]
The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,300 kilometres (1,400 mi) over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometres (133,000 sq mi). The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space and is the world's biggest single structure made by living organisms. This reef structure is composed of and built by billions of tiny organisms, known as coral polyps. It supports a wide diversity of life and was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1981. CNN labelled it one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Queensland National Trust named it a state icon of Queensland
