Neptune's Reefworld Aquarium in Hervey Bay allows guests to get up nice and close to the turtles and other marine life. You even have the option of feeding the turtles and patting them as they swim past you.

Vic Hislop's Shark Show Hervey Bay
When it comes to sharks one man who knows a lot of interesting information is Mr Vic Hislop. Vic has set up a shark show exhibition up in Hervey Bay, near Fraser Island. This exhibit is popular with tourists and school groups who want to learn more about these mighty creatures of the sea.
The show includes many artifacts, newspaper clippings, two movies and even a frozen shark! We learned lots while at the shark show and are glad that we took time on our recent holiday to check out Vic's exhibit.

Great White Shark Show -Top Tourist Parks - Discover Downunder
Hervey Bay is a 3 1/2 hour drive North of Brisbane in Southeast Queensland. It is home to the Great White Shark Show and Sue Heslip explains the History of the great white to Brooke Hanson, TV presenter of Discover Downunder. The collection display inside is unique and has been running for four decades and is an interesting place for anyone visiting the area.

Waterfront Restaurant, Dayman Park, Hervey Bay
Today we visited the Waterfront Restaurant in Urangan and met Natasha the restaurant Manager. This amazing restaurant probably has one of the best settings I have ever seen, perched up over the ocean and looking out to the Pier and Fraser Island.
These guys really specialise in Weddings and Functions and are multi award winners (just picked up the Australian Bridal Industry award for Best Wedding Restaurant Reception Venue 2015).
A great place for a function - or just a leisurely morning coffee!!
