Coast of the Atlantic Forest (Costa da Mata Atlântica)
The Coast of the Atlantic Forest has been the tourist name since 2003, for the region that encompasses the nine cities of the coastal area of São Paulo known as Baixada Santista, which are: Bertioga, Cubatão, Guarujá, Santos, São Vicente, Praia Grande, Mongaguá, Itanhaém and Peruíbe. The nine cities, therefore, form an only destination with several reasons for being visited: beaches, ecotourism, leisure, adventure, sports, gastronomy, history, culture and business. This diversity turns the Coast of the Atlantic Forest into ‘a unique experience for you’. Each city has its peculiarities, with options for all tastes, and they complete each other, offering a shoreline 161 km long, lush Atlantic Forest, historical and cultural attractions, besides a diversified cuisine and high quality structure for events and business.

Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, 2007
Paragliding location in Niteroi, Brazil
CURSO DE PARAPENTE:
Visit our friends in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro on December 27, 2007.
Niterói is a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro, southeast region of Brazil. This city was founded on November 22, 1573 by the Tupi Amerindian chief Araribóia (who later was converted to Roman Catholicism and given the Christian name of Martim Afonso, after the Portuguese explorer Martim Afonso de Sousa). It makes Niteroi the only Brazilian city to have been founded by a non-Christian, non-assimilated Brazilian Amerindian.
The Niterói Contemporary Art Museum (Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói — MAC) is situated in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is one of the city's main landmarks. It was completed in 1996.
Designed by Oscar Niemeyer with the assistance of structural engineer Bruno Contarini, who had worked with Niemeyer on earlier projects, the MAC-Niterói is 16 meters high; its cupola has a diameter of 50 meters with three floors. The museum projects itself over Boa Viagem (Bon Voyage, Good Journey), the 817-square meter reflecting pool that surrounds the cylindrical base like a flower, in the words of Niemeyer.
A wide access slope leads to a Hall of Expositions, which has a capacity for sixty people. The saucer-shaped modernist structure, which has been likened to a UFO, is set on a cliffside, at the bottom of which is a beach. In the film Oscar Niemeyer, an architect committed to his century, Niemeyer is seen flying over Rio de Janeiro in a UFO which then lands on the site, suggesting this to be the origin of the museum.
Guanabara Bay on its Western shore lays the city of Rio de Janeiro, and on its Eastern shore the cities of Niterói and São Gonçalo. Four other municipalities surround the bay's shores. Guanabara Bay is the second largest bay in area in Brazil (after the All Saints' Bay), at 412 square kilometers (159 sq mi), with a perimeter of 143 kilometers (89 mi).
Guanabara Bay is 31 kilometers (19 mi) long and 28 kilometers (17 mi) wide at its maximum. Its 1.5 kilometers (0.93 mi) wide mouth is flanked at the eastern tip by the Pico do Papagaio (Parrot's Peak) and the western tip by Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf).
Rio de Janeiro, commonly referred to simply as Rio, is the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city of Brazil, and the third largest metropolitan area and agglomeration in South America, 6th largest in the Americas, and 26th in the world.
The city was the capital of Brazil for nearly two centuries, from 1763 to 1815 during the Portuguese colonial era, 1815 to 1821 as the capital of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and Algarves, and from 1822 to 1960 as an independent nation. Rio is nicknamed the Cidade Maravilhosa or Marvelous City.
President Costa e Silva Bridge, commonly known as the Rio-Niteroi Bridge, is a box girder bridge located at Guanabara Bay, in the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. It connects the cities of Rio de Janeiro and the municipality of Niterói. It is currently the longest prestressed concrete bridge in the southern hemisphere, and the sixth longest in the world. From its completion in 1974 until 1985 it was the world's second-longest bridge, second only to Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.
Fort Coligny was a fortress founded by Nicolas Durand de Villegaignon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1555, in what constituted the so-called France Antarctique historical episode.
For protection against attacks by hostile Indians and the Portuguese, Villegaignon built the fortress with the help of the 500 colonists who travelled with him in two ships armed by the king of France, on a small island called Serigipe by the Indians of the region, near the mouth of the large Guanabara Bay.
The Fortress of Santa Cruz da Barra 1765 is located on the eastern side of the bar of Guanabara Bay , in the neighborhood of Jurujuba , municipality of Niterói , State of Brazil 's Rio de Janeiro.
Crossing fire to Fort St. John and the Fort Tamandaré Laje , was the main defensive structure of the bar of Guanabara Bay and the city and port of Rio de Janeiro during the Colony and the Empire. It is furnished to the present day, attracting an average of two thousand visitors per month, guided tours, every hour, lasting about 45 minutes. He is currently the headquarters of the Division Artillery of the 1st Army Division .
Some authors repeat, incorrectly, that the early occupation of the site dates back to an improvised defense by Nicolas Durand de Villegagnon the entrance of the bar (1555), with two artillery pieces and forces occupied by Portuguese in the context of campaign 1565 - 1567 , forgotten that the narratives of coeval sources apply to trying to install a battery in the Flagstone Island, fortified by the Portuguese much later.

We have the yerba Mate, it is ground, it''s dry, it''s settled and we are going to start preparing the mate by shaking it. Then we begin to pour lukewarm water, not too hot, so that the yerba begins to take its flavour for drinking the Mate. Now we stick in a straw, normally a metallic one but it could be made of other materials too, and then we pour the hot water. (Drinks some Mate) Good.

The yerba Mate needs this red earth to be able to grow. It doesn''t grow on any other soil outside of this region; all of Misiones, the north of Corrientes, South of Paraguay and South of Brazil. It is part of Argentina''s culture and above all of this region. That is very intrinsic; the yerba mate brings people together.

The waterfalls of Iguazu, the Mocon Falls, the Guaran Jesuit Missions, and the Ibera Wetlands are the four fundamental landmarks of this region between Misiones and Corrientes. What unifies, identifies and links all these attractions is a path, a historic route that was already set out by the Guaran people and the Jesuits, that went around these attractions and this is the route of the yerba Mate.

JUST the DAY after
CHILE beat URUGUAY 2 - 0
AND TALKING about the DAY
the FIFA could EXTRACT the BAD
Judges from FOOTBALL and define
RULES for have REFEREEs without
any CONTINENTALs implications at
match alike this was... BECAUSE the
guy at 26 march 2013 was an Argentinian
Judge SO how can HE be NEUTRAL
at a SELECTIV match alike that was...?
Looks alike Samaranch at a PALMERAS
tree protesting about what we says..!?
WE, Sonia Edith SALGADO DUQUE de BRAVO
owner of the Sony Camera, Sergio BRAVO-RAMOS
chilena supporter of his team, and I Jorge Efrain
BRAVO SALGADO -born in 1971 at SANTIAGO-
who is filming with a Sony Camera. THIS type of
BIRDS are alike egyptian pictures WHEN they
appears in the PALMERAS trees. I was saying
that the Day Mik.Nicholls is elected at FIFA he
could AD a britain culture around equity for this
kind of football match. Because is the Masses
Religion Today, Football request to be manage
to have NO MORE HOOLIGANs attitudes, and
less violence between supporters and players.
The CHILE - URUGUAY was reported as have been
RUDE and that means THAT WAS WEST COAST
verse EAST COAST in America group, BUT the
referee was Argentinian from THE MIDDLE ground
so THAT WAS BETTER he was from another far
away country to HAVE EQUALs JUDGEMENTs!
And that could a CHANGE ad to FIFA RULES
an OBLIGATION on SOCIOLOGY NEUTRALITY
for definition on Referrees! The Fact CHILE win
do not extract the fact THAT could be better judged!
WE can imagine the REFERREE could have been
CHINESSE or IRISH then the CHILE - URUGUAY
football match BECOMES totally strange for HIM
and is better TO do applicate RULES and NOT
been under influences BY the LANGUAGE or
the GEOPOLITICs around ARGENTINA - CHILE
or ARGENTINA - URUGUAY... just a sugestion !
I was not even take attention on the match...
At the same Time that could be done by a New
cuts distribution, IF CHILE is inserted into an
economic Area called A.P.E.C. - T.P.P. and
URUGUAY is inserted into MERCOSUR, then
the referree Must comes from by Example
B.R.I.C.S. countries with an exception on
BRESIL because it is already into MERCOSUR!
It is imagining EQUALS RULES without INTERETS
CONFLICTs that could perturb the judgement on
the Matches. Must of All NOW that the next WORLD
CUP in FOOTBALL is at BRESIL not a SINGLE
REFERREE must comes from there, IF it is PRESERV
the JUDGEMENTS from NATIONALS interests of WHO
ORGANIZE, to do not choose football players clubs
that BRESIL necessary beats after! CAUSE is INCONSCIOUS!
How an Argentinian Referree could Be NEUTRAL judging
a URUGUAY - CHILI football match..? WE are Neighbourgs!!
At the same times WHAT is CALLED the NO-CUMULATIVE
politics RULES in some Countries MUST DO be applicated
in the BUILD of economics and sports groups... HOW Russia
could be at A.P.E.C. - T.P.P. AND at the same times into B.R.I.C.S.?
It is UNFAIR into comercials conflicts if CHILE have products that
are on difficulties in BRESIL and SO this BRESIL use to sign
with RUSSIA on the BACK of CHILE an agreement!... The Union
of EUROPA have that clear design THAT IS around SINGLE
CONTINENTAL and SINGLE MEDITERRANEO SEA! SO the
Trade Union define STRATEGICs COMUN INTERESTs! When
THE MERCOSUR negotiate TRADE UNION with U.E. THEN
it is UNFAIR on relation with CHILE, PERU, COLOMBIA
by the fact that RE-WRITE a sort OF COLONIAL HISTORY
by PRODUCTS and BANKs! It is UNFAIR for CONSUMERS!
I wish South AMERICA is NOT a BIRD by its Shape! It is NOT
any ZOO in MADRID near a Prado Museum of KINGs-QUEENs!
