Located at 1,0 feet above sea level on the slopes of the Kitzbüheler Horn, Berghotel Pointenhof is right next to the Jodlalm Ski Lift. It has a ski school and offers free Wi-Fi. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the mountains.
The spacious rooms are decorated in a traditional Alpine style with wooden furniture and floors. Each room features satellite TV and a bathroom.
The restaurant has a sun terrace and serves traditional Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialities. A special diet menu is available on request.
The Pointenhof has an indoor playroom and a playground in the garden. Free private parking is available on site.
In winter, guests can use a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. In summer, hiking and mountain bike trails start right outside.
The centre of St. Johann in Tirol is 1.9 miles away. Transfers to and from St. Johann Train Station are offered on request.

On the last weekend of January, The Rake headed out to St Moritz with our good friends Alps & Meters, the US-based outerwear brand, to take in the remarkable spectacle that is the Snow Polo World Cup - surely one of the world's most unique sporting events, played out upon St Moritz's frozen lake in sub-zero temperatures.

10 Jahresfeier Tiroler Skischule Wagstätt

Am 09. Februar 2013 fand die 10 Jahresfeier am Hausleitn Lift in Jochberg b. Kitzbühel statt. Ski- und Snowboard-Fans kamen um die Show mit diversen Highlights zu verfolgen. Alle Gäste wurden mit kostenlosem Glühwein, Kinderpunsch und Würst'l versorgt. Das Rahmenprogramm umfasste eine Ski-und Snowboard Lasershow eine fesselnde Darbietung der Feuer-Künstlerund eine Versteigerung der besonderen Art: Es konnte für Ski-, Snowboard-, Schneeschuh- und Kinderkursen gesteigert werden. Ebenfalls gab es eine Tombola mit tollen Preisen der Hotels und Restaurants aus dem Umland. Zum Beispiel steuerten das Gasthaus Vordergrub und das Schlosshotel Mittersill Gutscheine für ein urgemütliches Essen, einen Wellnesstag oder eine Übernachtung bei. Musikalische wurde der Abend von den Trommlern der bekannten Gruppe BeatHouse umrahmt. Zum krönenden Abschluss der Show gab es für das Publikum ein beeindruckendes Feuerwerk der Firma HTH pyrotec.

Chalet Rachel is traditional 3 bedroomed Alpine Ski Chalet with sauna, only 4 minutes away from the Gondola station, in a quiet area next to a beautiful pine forest. The chalet has been completed to the highest standard and is completely furnished throughout, offering excellent self-catered accommodation and comfort for 6+2 people.

It is ideal for winter and ski holidays as well for spring and summer holidays, with stunning mountain treks and horse riding amoung fresh mountain air.
