Rembrandt's Chocolates Videos
Rembrandts Chocolate Prints
A chocolatier in Duncan, British Columbia, shows Bill Ritchie how to use chocolate to print an etched copper plate on Bill's two tiny etching presses - the Legacy Mini Halfwood and the first prototype of the Wee Woodie Rembrandt Press. Ernest Horvers, the owner of Rembrandt's Chocolates on Vancouver Island, Canada, has been making chocolates for almost twenty years and, working with Bill, has helped to develop a child-safe way (and fun!) to print etchings. In this video you see Horvers' grandson get into the act and mom does some camera work for Bill. They try both presses and, at the end, Bill shows the print even tastes good!
