My Crowdfunding Project GKT47 is the project that I trip all prefectures in Japan and broadcast each mascot character (Yurukyara/Gotouchi Kyara) and its attraction.

I set my target by 2020 as to be the US No.1 comedian.
One of its steps, I am introducing Japan with humor all over the world as a representative of Japan!
【Shiga prefecture】
The largest Japanese lake, Biwa-ko. Enryaku-ji Temple, the World Cultural Heritage, and national treasures are on the lakeshore.
The prefecture of Shiga is in the middle of Japan; Lake Biwa a.k.a Mother Lake , the largest lake in Japan, lies at its center. It is surrounded by Mt. Ibuki to the northeast, the Suzuka Mountain Range to the east, Mt. Hira-san and Mt. Hiei-zan to the west, and the Shigaraki Mountains lie to the south.
They have annual local mascots' festival called Hikone Gotochi Kyara Matsuri along the castle town of Hikone castle whose donjon is designated as a national treasure.
Also there are a number of precious heritage sites, including Hiei-zan Enryaku-ji Temple, designated as World Cultural Heritage, Hikone Castle designated as a national treasure, and many famous Buddhist images. Shiga is one of the richest areas in Japan for national treasures and important cultural properties.
You can also enjoy Shigaraki ware pottery, noted for statuettes of raccoon dogs, Otsu-e pictures with their vivid colors, and other traditional arts and crafts. Delicious food treats include traditional sushi, with fermented freshwater fish called Funa-zushi, which has been enjoyed since the 8th century; also try Omi beef to tempt your palate. Not to be missed is the Hikiyama-matsuri Festival where decorative floats parade through the city in spring.

Japan’s Babymetal just want to rock

They keep their hair in pigtails, wear bright red skirts and sing about chocolate, but don’t call them pop-stars. Babymetal, the massively popular “kawaii-metal” band from Japan, are stopping in Toronto on May 12 as part of their world tour. The band is made up of three teenage girls: Suzuka “Su-metal” Nakamoto, Yui “Yuimetal” Mizuno and Moa “Moametal” Kikuchi. They range in age from 15 to 17, but they headbang and jump around the stage like they’ve been doing this forever. They have toured with Lady GaGa, Metallica are considered fans, and they were the youngest act to perform at Loud Park, the biggest heavy metal music festival in Japan. The Post’s Adam St. Pierre spoke with the group about all things metal.

This is Babymetal’s second world tour. Has the worldwide popularity been a surprise?

Before this, I used to see a lot of English comments on YouTube and I thought that we had some fans overseas but I was shocked to know that there are so many people just waiting to see us.

Slayer seems to be big fans of yours, but have other heavy metal bands warmed up to you?
Moametal
I’m happy enough that people acknowledge us whether the like us or not. We’re really blessed to be supported by bands like Metallica.

Are there any heavy metal bands that inspire you?
Yuimetal
Metallica, of course! They are the band that all three of us really look up to. They took pictures with us and are super friendly. I think it’ll be fun to tour with them, one day.

Did you think being a heavy metal idol would be a lot different than a normal Japanese idol?
Su-metal
We came to be Babymetal after receiving a divine message from the Fox God. We strive to be the only one and to continue to do more things that only we as Babymetal can do.

Do you get headaches from head banging?

Of course! When we first started out I remember suffering from muscle ache for three straight days.
