In rich houses of Russia. And the servants of the Lord Most Viral photo compilation slideshow,
Lord and Servant is a look at the Russian elite, which was photographed with the hired servants. Photographer interested in place workers in the employer's house, relations between people.
I had long conversations with people, she said. I asked what their relationship is like. These conversations helped Lee Mi Yang decide how to organize photos.
For those who can afford it, it is a common thing - to hire an assistant, said Lee Mi Yang Business Insider, the author of the project. That's strange: the staff - it's just our wealthy Pinocchio? What's the big deal? Surely in other countries this unusual case for the rich?
According to Lee, Mi Yang, find people who want to withdraw was not difficult. Most of them were people with whom I am familiar, she said. Most of them agreed to participate in my project with enthusiasm.
In Russia, be a governess or nanny is considered low-skilled work, said Lee Mi-Yang. Some staff have refused to be photographed, to avoid the label housekeeper.
Most people believe that they treat their servants with attention and care, but, nevertheless, the majority of servants and wants to save money to change jobs.
These photos really see the relationship Mezhuyev masters and servants.

Sustainable living on Altai: alternative lifestyle of Russian man
#offgrid #livingoffgrid #Altai
Stas Gorshenin’d had been enjoying regular city life as a Muscovite for a long time. He had concentrated on developing a 3D designer career, but somehow, he just wasn’t happy. But that all changed when Stas accidentally found himself on a trip to Altai, a Russian republic in southern Siberia. The young man immediately fell in love with the place and so began the path to his alternative lifestyle. He bought a homestead, built a small house and started a family. But simple doesn’t necessarily mean easy. Off-grid living is pretty tough. Stas had to work hard for a simple, sustainable life. But in the end, one can say he has won, as his depression has since abated and his health has improved. Moreover, he’s managed to improve his vehicle concept designer career while in the wilderness, becoming more successful than he could have ever imagined!

STORYLINE
Security was tight at Domodedovo Airport on Tuesday, a day after at least 35 people were killed and 110 people were wounded in a suicide bombing at Moscow's busiest airport.
Russia's Emergencies Ministry said there were eight foreign citizens killed in the attack including two Britons, a German, a Bulgarian along with one person each from the former Soviet republics of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Ukraine.
No claim of responsibility has been made for the Monday afternoon blast at Domodedovo Airport.
However, suspicion was likely to fall on Chechen militants, who have claimed many other attacks in Russia, including last year's double suicide bombing of the Moscow subway system that killed 40.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev tightened security at Moscow's two other commercial airports and other key transportation facilities.
Medvedev cancelled plans to travel to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he was aiming to promote Russia as a profitable investment haven to world business leaders.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin ordered the health minister to send her deputies to hospitals to make sure the injured were getting the medical care they needed.
Russians still look to the tough-talking Putin as the leader they trust to guarantee their security, and Monday's attack was likely to strengthen the position of the security forces that form part of his base.
Large-scale battles in Chechnya ended years ago, following two devastating wars that Russia waged with the republic's separatists, but Islamic militants have continued to carry out suicide bombings and other attacks.
Most have been in Chechnya and other predominantly Muslim provinces in the southern Caucasus region, but some have targeted Moscow, including its subways, trains and even a theatre.
In Washington, President Barack Obama condemned the outrageous act of terrorism and offered any assistance.
Those comments were echoed by British Prime Minister David Cameron, who spoke with Medvedev and assured him of his complete support.

Criminal Putin regime arrested opposition Leader of Russia Alexey Navalny for 15 days
BBC World News © 2017
Criminal Putin regime arrested opposition Leader of Russia Alexey Navalny for 15 days
Obvious to all, and today's events in March 26, 2017 demonstrated
that Russia has a new political force able to lead the people of Russia healthy forces of Russia, against tyranny, against the criminal corrupt regime of Putin and his entire gang, in which over 17 years of criminal rule of Putin's policies, the people of this country, Russia, has become even worse to live in complete poverty and poverty, the country is in the arbitrariness of the authorities, the police and the courts. From the Treasury of the state by Putin's gang, stolen more than 375 billion EUROS, without control of the national stolen all the natural resources of the country. Putin's regime must be overthrown, the country needs a new political change. The whole world knows Putin over 17 years of criminal rule the country and the people of Russia led to disaster.
Thousands of people joined rallies nationwide, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev over corruption allegations.
At least 500 other protesters were detained in the capital and across the country.
Most of the marches were illegal, organised without official permission.
TV pictures showed demonstrators chanting Down with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin!, Russia without Putin! and Putin is a thief!.
Correspondents say the marches appear to be the biggest since anti-government demonstrations in 2011/2012.
Alexei Navalny was detained as he arrived to join the rally in central Moscow. Protesters then tried to prevent a police van from taking him away.
In a tweet after his detention, he urged fellow protesters to continue with the demonstration.
Guys, I'm fine. No need to fight to get me out. Walk along Tverskaya [Moscow main street]. Our topic of the day is the fight against corruption, he said (in Russian).
He later said police stormed the office of his foundation and detained its staff, who were broadcasting the protests live.
Demonstrations were also held in Saint Petersburg, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and several other cities, where arrests had also been reported.
Why the protests?
Alexei Navalny called for the nationwide protests after he published reports claiming that Mr Medvedev controlled mansions, yachts and vineyards - a fortune that far outstripped his official salary.
Mr Medvedev's spokeswoman called the allegations propagandistic attacks, but the prime minister himself has not commented on the claims.
The reports included the accusation that Mr Medvedev had a special house for a duck on one of his properties - and on Sunday, some demonstrators held up images of yellow rubber ducks.
Others showed up with their faces painted green, a reference to a recent attack in which Mr Navalny was hit with green liquid.
In Moscow, protesters filled Pushkin square and some climbed the monument to poet Alexander Pushkin shouting impeachment. Turnout was estimated to be between 7,000 and 8,000, according to police.
The police said 500 protesters had been arrested in the capital alone, but a rights group, OVD Info, put that number at at least 700.
The Kremlin has not commented on the demonstrations. It had said on Friday that plans for an unauthorised protest in central Moscow were an illegal provocation.
State TV channels did not cover the demonstrations.
Local media reports suggested the authorities pressured students not to attend. In some cities, exams were scheduled on Sunday.
Alexei Navalny announced his intention to run for president in 2018 against Vladimir Putin. But he is barred from doing so after being found guilty in a case he said was politicised.
He said on his website that protests were planned in 99 cities, but that in 72 of them authorities did not give permission.

Victor Acevedo at NYIT 8 April 2010
VICTOR ACEVEDO was the guest speaker for Robert Michael Smith's class called Contemporary Art in Context at the NEW YORK INSTITUTE of TECHNOLOGY (NYIT) on 8 April 2010.
The presentation was called PATTERN, FIELD, MATRIX, VISUAL MUSIC. In this 47-minute clip edited down from his 1.5 hour presentation and Q&A session, Acevedo surveys his 35+ year career in the visual arts. Starting from his student phase in 1977 and early professional practice. He discusses some of his early influences (PIcasso, M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali, & Buckminster Fuller) and the genesis of his signature space-frame & polyhedral graphical metaphor -- kind of 'geometrical Surrealism.'
1977-84 working with traditional media (painting and drawing)
1983 to 2006 Computer Art: Digital Prints
(see: 23.29 video timeline)
2007 to present: Motion Graphics: Visual Music
(see 40.48 video timeline)
Acevedo is an artist and desktop computer art pioneer, best known for his digital work involving printmaking, imaging and video. He attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena (1979-81). He lived in New York City from 1995 to 2009 where he taught at the School of Visual Arts, MFA Computer Art program. He is now based in Los Angeles, California.
Acevedo brings to his current roles as music video director / video editor, motion graphics artist and LIVE visualist (VJ) over 35 years of experience in the visual arts. Following a natural evolution, his work has moved from traditional media to digital and later from still-imagery to motion graphics. Considering the implications of Synesthesia and given his avid interest in contemporary Electronic Beat music as well as Digital Cinema and Synergetic Geometry, Acevedo has positioned himself inside the genre called VISUAL MUSIC. His music video productions are informed by a synthesis of these traditions, disciplines, phenomenologies.
Acevedo's interest in Electronic Beat music, began with his introduction to Drum and Bass in NYC early 1995. Returning to Los Angeles in 2009 he soon immersed himself into the local electronic underground. As a result, his most recent visual music works have integrated dance forms like Drum n Bass and Dubstep as spun at club nights such as RESPECT and SMOG as well as the more experimental forms of abstract, hip-hop/dubstep, BASS heavy music that can be found at the community's epicenter, LOW END THEORY.
Acevedo's digital fine art work has been featured in several books including: Moving Innovation: A History of Computer Animation. (Tom Sito, MIT Press 2013) Digital Art (Wolf Lieser, Ullman /Tandem 2009) ; From Technological to Virtual Art ( Frank Popper, MIT Press 2007) ; Art of the Digital Age (Bruce Wands,Thames and Hudson, 2006) ; Escher's Legacy: A Centennial Celebration, (edited by Doris Schattschneider and Michelle Emmer, Springer Verlag 2002.)
Acevedo has shown his work in over 85 exhibitions worldwide including The Waterman Gallery at RISD, 2007 & 2011; SYNAPSE at Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA) July 2005, The Isamu Noguchi Museum: Synergetics in the Arts 2005; The Siggraph/TAS, Paris, 2005; Novosibirsk State Art Museum; 2005; Digital Art Museum, Berlin 2004; Millennium Art Museum, Bejing, China, 2004; ACM/Siggraph CG03; Siggraph/TAS, Cleveland Art Museum 2003; Digital Duality at EZTV/Cyberspace 2002; Levall Gallery, Novosibirsk, Russia, 2002; YLEM's 20th Anniversary Exhibition, SF, California, 2001; Colville Place Gallery, London, 2001; in ArcadeIII, touring the UK 2001- 02, Galerie der Gegenwart, Weisbaden, Germany, 2001; ACM/SIGGRAPH '98, Orlando FL.; M.C. Studies on Nicholas Roerich and his works to be enhanced
A second international conference Roerichs and Mongolia” took place at the Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum between August 16 and 18. Aimed at enhancing studies of renowned Russian painter, traveler and scholar of Mongolian studies Nicholas Roerich, the conference was organized under the theme “Tengerism and Cosmism” by the Roerich's Shambhala Museum in Ulaanbaatar and the Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum in cooperation --Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of Russia in Ulaanbaatar and Roerich Family Museum Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia. The conference brought together scholars of more than 20 countries who presented their studies for discussion.
During the conference, a presentation about a chemical analysis of painting “Red Hero” by Nicholas Roerich, who gifted his own painting to the Mongolian Prime Minister B.Tserendorj in 1927, was delivered. Nicholas Roerich painted it after his expedition throughout Mongolia and it is believed that the painting is a depiction of symbolization of the Shambhala King Rigden Drakpo coming to Mongolia and bringing the era of the Shambhala, giving peace and happiness to its people.
Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Enkhtuvshin attended the conference, opening the conference and announced that the Government of Mongolia resolved to provide financial support for the Roerich's Shambhala Museum and handed over the original of the Roerich’s “Red Hero” painting to the Roerich's Shambhala Museum. In his opening remarks, Deputy PM U.Enkhtuvshin noted “Mongolian people very well know that the history and natural landscapes of Mongolia are important elements of depiction in the works of Nicholas Roerich. We also deeply respect his “Red Hero” painting, one of the greatest works to portray the bright future of Mongolia and its people, considering its symbolic delineation.”

This expansive show, covering the length and breadth of India and its diversity in current times, was very well received and helped break a lot of stereotypes that existed with respect to India and Indian contemporary art.
Six of the participating artists - Aakshat Sinha, Ashish Kushwaha, Janardhan Rao, Prasanta Kalita, Ravindra Verma and Shikhant Sablania visited Russia for this show. Apart from Nizhny Novgorod, they also visited Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Why You Should Visit Russia.
Russia, officially the Russian Federation, is a transcontinental country in Eastern Europe and North Asia. At 17,125,200 square kilometres (6,612,100 sq mi), it is, by a considerable margin, the largest country in the world by area, covering more than one-eighth of the Earth's inhabited land area, and the ninth most populous, with about 146.79 million people as of 2019, including Crimea. About 77% of the population live in the western, European part of the country. Russia's capital, Moscow, is one of the largest cities in the world and the largest city in Europe; other major cities include Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod. Extending across the entirety of Northern Asia and much of Eastern Europe, Russia spans eleven time zones and incorporates a wide range of environments and landforms. From northwest to southeast, Russia shares land borders with Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland (both with Kaliningrad Oblast), Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and North Korea. It shares maritime borders with Japan by the Sea of Okhotsk and the U.S. state of Alaska across the Bering Strait. However, Russia recognises two more countries that border it, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, both of which are internationally recognized as parts of Georgia.
The political system of Russia is governed as a federal semi-presidential republic since 1993. Vladimir Putin has dominated Russia's political system since 2000, serving as either president or prime minister. His government is often characterized as authoritarian, where Russia has experienced democratic backsliding under his leadership. It is ranked 138 out of 180 countries in the 2018 Corruption Perceptions Index and 24 of 29 in the 2018 Nations in Transit Report by Freedom House, while being ranked 144th in the 2018 Democracy Index.
Russia's economy ranks as the eleventh largest by nominal GDP and sixth largest by purchasing power parity in 2019. Russia's extensive mineral and energy resources are the largest such reserves in the world, making it one of the leading producers of oil and natural gas globally. The country is one of the five recognized nuclear weapons states and possesses the largest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. Russia is a great power as well as a regional power and has been characterised as a potential superpower. It is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and an active global partner of ASEAN, as well as a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), the G20, the Council of Europe, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the International Investment Bank (IIB) and the World Trade Organization (WTO), as well as being the leading member of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and one of the five members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), along with Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
