We set out to Walton-on-the-Naze in North Essex for my first wildcamp in a while at Stone Creek - a stunning stretch of isolated beach on the edge of the marshland running north from Naze tower.

Class 455 on Walton on Naze branch line (HD)
I did something clumsy and removed the overhead wires and replaced them with 3rd rails. This also sounds a bit silly when you put a 455 SWT on the branch line. How did it get there? Has it been shunted, were they put on freight? They can't make it all the way here by itself because there is no third rail all the way.
