AGOMLOK MONASTERY, UPPER LINGTAM, EAST SIKKIM
Agomlok Monastery is situated 16 km away from Rongli Bazar, 7 Km from Lingtam and 1 km from Titli Resort and Basera Resort at Agomlok. It is a gumpha, for the Buddhists adjacent to a big play ground at the hilltop.
In this video, tourists are trekking near about 500 foots to reach the gumpha at a shortcut route.

A Renovated Natural Lake Located in East Sikkim under Rongli Sub-Division, Aritar is known for its scenic beauty, bounded by Mt. Kanchendzonga and characterized by lush forest, mountains and rivers. The climate here is soothing and salubrious, worth visiting throughout the year. Major attraction is lush greenery of Pines, mahogany and hilly shrubs, besides natural flowing rivers. Another major attraction is the Aritar Lake, and a local monastery called Lingsay.

Hi i am naturemoto99 and i share a day at Aritar, east sikkim during my trip to sikkim on my royal enfield himalayan
Lampokhari : Initially one of the oldest natural lake in Sikkim and recently artificially constructed to facilitate boating for the tourists. At an altitude of 4600 ft (1,400 m) it is the only lake with boating facility in Sikkim.
Dak Bungalow : Popularly known as Ari-Bangla, it is an old British-built dak bungalow built by Sir James Claude White (first political officer of Sikkim during British rule in India) in the year 1895. At the same premises Sikkim’s first treasury was built as well as Sikkim Police was raised and the first outpost started functioning in the year 1897.

Parbateyswar Shivalaya Mandir : The most venerated shrine with picturesque splendour is considered a very holy pilgrimage site, where thousands of devotees throng for the blessing and participate during the month of “SAWAN” to offer water and sip the sacred water from a sacred vessel.
Mankhim: “Mangkhim”, a Temple of the Rai of Nepali origin is located at a height of 6500 ft at “Maity Village” (Kheselakha) . Hattipailay is another virgin village where the visitors can see elephant footprints on rock.
Nirmal Dham : This place situated about 5 km (approx) from Rhenock Bazar, is an abode of “Nirmal Guruji” (a.k.a.) “ Kopchey Baba”, known for his miraculous healing power, which has attracted hundreds of devotees from all over India and neighbouring countries.
Ever green nursery & Ram Gauri Sangrhalaya : Located at Rhenock Bazar, the nursery and museum is privately owned and has drift wood collections, botanical & other varieties of flowers.

I have made this video to show our visit to Lampokhari Lake from my Home place .
Lampokhari lake is Situated in Aritar Sikkim near Rhenock Bazaar.
This lake is 1200 feet long and 240 feet wide and is one of the places that is mostly visited by Tourists .

Rumtek Monastery, Dance & music Practice
Rumtek, is 23 kms from Gangtok at 4900 feet. The monastery is nestled on the top of a mountain overlooking Gangtok city and is the largest in Sikkim. It belongs to the Kargyu sect of Buddhists. The architecture is a replica of the original monastery in Tsurpu in Tibet.
The children enroll here at the residential school and study religion over 11 years to graduate as monk. They do extra studies in allied subjects to become a Pandit.
