SUMMARY:
- The natives living on North Sentinel Island will stop at nothing to protect their land from outsiders.
- The existence of Area 51 was only officially confirmed by the US government in 2013. According to the partially declassified documents, Area 51 is a US Air Force base where next-generation aircraft are being developed and tested.
- Throughout its history, Kaho’olawe Island used to be a site of religious rituals, a penal colony, and a US Navy training ground. These days, Kaho’olawe enjoys the status of a nature reserve.
- Occasionally, when the BT Tower plays host to charity events, a few hundred people still get the lucky chance to see London from a different perspective.
- The territory of Ise Grand Shrine is only accessible to priests and members of the Imperial family.
- Situated in the Atlantic, Sable Island has a population of fewer than 30 people and is a veritable graveyard of sunken ships.
- Built in Stockholm during the Cold War, Pionen Data Center has lately been transformed into an ultramodern office environment for a Swedish Internet service provider.
- The Don-2N Radar Station has a height of 131 feet and a width at the base of 459 feet. It is a key element in the city of Moscow’s missile defense system.
- In addition to the famous giant bas-reliefs of America’s greatest presidents, Mount Rushmore has another intriguing feature: a secret room carved out deep inside the rock.
- When viewed from above, Mauritius Island in the Indian Ocean seems to be located near a fascinating underwater waterfall. However, this fascinating phenomenon is just an optical illusion created by a run-off of silt and sand deposits.

What Happens to Planes After Retirement
Do you think that the newer an airplane, the safer the flight? Not quite. Modern commercial aircraft are very robust. One of the oldest commercial airplanes, a Boeing 737-200, made its first flight 40 years ago and still makes 3-4 regular flights a day! But what happens to the retired aircraft?
There are several options for airplanes that don't fly anymore. One of the most common options is simply storage. The most ideal places for this purpose of storing airliners are deserts with dry climates, where the planes won't rust too quickly. But what happens to airplanes after they arrive?

If You Find This In the Wall, Don't Touch Or Pull It!
How to Protect Your Data. Who knows what secrets a simple memory stick can hold? Scammers these days make use of those as they’re getting more and more creative to steal your data and harm your gadgets. In this video, you'll find out what danger a flash drive sticking out of a wall can present to your data and safety and why you should never pick one up off the street.
“Dead Drop” is a global art project that’s borrowed some tricks from the world of spies and espionage. Nowadays, there are over one and a half thousand dead drops around the globe. Remember it's highly ill-advised to plug some random USB stick into your computer. You can't even fathom what information might be waiting for you on a flash drive.
Criminals can use the “lost” memory sticks trick to get access to your personal information, your passwords, and other important data. What's more, they can easily destroy your computer. USB sticks in the mail also contain malware that can seriously mess up your computer.

SUMMARY
-Berlin-based artist Aram Bartholl decided to create an anonymous, offline, peer-to-peer file-sharing network in public space and started his “Dead Drop” project. It encourages people to swap confidential information with others by hiding memory sticks all over the world.
-You never know what viruses are lurking on a flash drive off the street, waiting patiently to destroy their next victim’s hard drive. Secondly, you can't even fathom what information might be waiting for you on a flash drive. Anyone can download videos, pictures, or text files, and this has already led to several problems.
-Using the “lost” flash drive trick, criminals can get access to your personal information, your passwords, and other important data. One Hong Kong-based company has created a flash drive that can literally annihilate a computer. It absorbs power from the USB line until it reaches 240 volts.
-Unmarked memory sticks dropped into mail boxes contain malware that can seriously mess up your computer. Scammers evidently rely on human curiosity and, in all honesty, it pays off.
-If you ever see an online ad for a one-terabyte memory stick being sold for a laughable amount of money, beware. hackers have somehow discovered a way to alter the controller chip settings. As long as you don’t exceed the true capacity of your new flash drive, it works fine. But once you go over the limit, the memory stick will slowly start corrupting your data.

Apparently, Sherlock Holmes' arch nemesis, Professor Moriarty, lived in Sweden for some time. He is the mastermind behind this difficult and somewhat confusing escape room. It's beautifully decorated, though, and you feel like stepping back in time to the Victorian age.

What Actually Happened to the Most Beautiful Woman
She captivated millions on both sides of the Atlantic. She was even dubbed “the most beautiful woman that ever lived.” Her life behind the scenes was as enigmatic as her image on screen. So, what ever happened to silent-film star Greta Garbo after all that success?
The Swedish actress never really liked talking to the press. You know what she famously said when asked about her personal life? “I was born. I had a mother and father. I went to school. What does it matter?” And still, her younger days in Sweden affected her deeply. If not for them, she probably wouldn’t have found her calling at all...

Mata Hari (1931) Promo shot of Greta Garbo: By Capital Pictures/EAST NEWS,
Animation is created by Bright Side.
SUMMARY:
- Her dad passed, leaving her family of now 4 in unimaginable financial hardship. She desperately had to earn a living, so she started working at a department store.
- Once she started acting in commercials in 1920, her path to the big screen was now wide open.
- Greta enrolled in acting school at Stockholm’s Royal Dramatic Theater. When she graduated in 1924, she was discovered by one of Sweden’s leading directors, Mauritz Stiller.
- He was also the one who insisted she use a stage name. After all, “Gustafsson” didn’t exactly roll off the tongue, and the difficult pronunciation would make the aspiring actress’s name hard to remember.
- And soon enough, her fame would go trans-Atlantic. In 1925, the famous American film studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer offered Stiller to work in Hollywood.
- But it was a time when talent wasn’t enough for an actress to become a big star. Garbo was forced to lose weight and learn English, her hair was dyed, her teeth were fixed, and her eyebrows were tweezed into thin threads.
- In 1926, Garbo played a Spanish singer in her first American film called Torrent. It was a hit.
- Most of Garbo’s films were love stories or dramas, and her unique performance on screen combined both passion and restraint.
- Despite being one of Hollywood’s major idols, she didn’t attend movie premieres, talk to reporters, or sign autographs.
- In 1930, she made her debut in the sound film Anna Christie. Her raspy sound fascinated people no less than her gaze that could replicate dozens of emotions. The picture was once again well received.
- According to TIME, she was the top-paid actor in 1934, with a whopping $500,000 salary!
- In 1941, she appeared in Two-Faced Woman. The critics called the story silly, and it was a flop. The film’s failure supposedly hurt the actress’s self-esteem tremendously.
- She moved to Manhattan, where she’d take long strolls down the streets of New York wearing huge sunglasses to not be spotted.
- And although she wasn’t making movies anymore, she hadn’t given up on art entirely. She turned to collecting paintings and bought the works of Jawlensky, Renoir, and many others.
- Greta Garbo died in 1990 at the age of 84. As biographer Barry Paris put it, she was an anomaly.

Elin Synnøve - NO MORE CRAZY DREAMS
No More Crazy Dreams is taken from Elin Synnøve's third album Perfect Addiction. The straightforward and catchy pop tune harbours strong melancholic vibes fortified by a music video that paints a poetic and unstrained portrait of loss and sorrow at the same time as it kindles hope for a brighter future. The music video is launched on the brink of the time before the holidays as Christmas gives all emotions more strength - this goes for the feelings of sorrow as well as those of joy. When you lose someone dear, Christmas is never quite the same again. Elin Synnøve lost both her mum and dad during the last year, and recognises that the coming Christmas will be hard and strange. The song and video is dedicated to all of you who carry the burden of loss.
